Button is stuck down , set 2 attis on fire :(

My Reo Grand button is stuck (pressed down) and don't get up again. I set 2 atomizers on fire.

Any local solution to that ,or will I have to ship it to Rob ??

Also why did this happen ?? I want to avoid this in my other Reo?

I sent similar msg to Rob. He is the best @ customer service all around.

The button more than likely got stuck due to grime. Simply remove the battery, atomizer and juice bottle then flush the mod with very hot water...while pressing the button repeatedly. That should clear up the stickiness. You can also drizzle some alcohol down the button area while working the button up and down.

However...it is important to check the spring for any compression or discoloration and also the bottom of the button for signs of melting. If the bottom of the button appears to be melted, then it needs to be replaced. If you don't see any of these signs then a good cleaning should fix your mod right up.

1) Maybe time for a good cleaning especially around the firing pin 2) try pushing down a little hard with the battery loaded. Good Luck

You can buy the spring. Contact Robert he will tell you what you need to get and what can be done. What battery were you using?

What battery are you using? Too tall of one may not have enough room for the pin to come off the battery. How is the spring under the battery? Hopefully your in contact with Rob.

You do not have to ship it back if you're comfortable doing it yourself. Rob can send you the parts. You will need a new spring, but I suggest you also order a replacement button just in case and extra spring since you live in Egypt.

Just to be clear, when your battery is in the mod with the spring being flat, are you able to still fire the mod? If the answer is yes, then the battery you are using is too big.

The button is stuck with and without the battery. I don't see any spring at the button. Only the aluminum contacts. Its a great relief that i dont have to ship back. Thank u guys sooo much for ur help.

To be clear. THe spring is at the bottom of the Reo at the negative end of the battery. THere is no spring at the firing button.

I just want to say that Rob fixed my MOD with a negligible price and sent me a video and a kit ,to fix it myself if this happened again. Perfect service as expected. Thank you Rob and ECF for the support.
