Button top or flathead?

I'm new to mechs and I've been eyeing a hcigar caravela clone with a kayfun lite clone. I want to get the Sony vtc4, and was wondering if it mattered if I got the button top or flathead? Would either of those fit in the mech? Also, the charger I'm looking at is the nitecore i2, does this charger accept both types of batteries?

My fault, the mech I looking at comes with a battery that is button top (efest I think). The vtc4s I seen are flat top.

I just take approach : all I have - are the same
and prefer flat ones

I generally prefer flat tops, more contact means more conductivity, which means better vape. Just my opinion

Select the best battery for the application. Right now the best 18650 batteries are flat top. If you can adjust the mod for flat tops why not go that route.

The best battery for current in the 18490 size is button top. I went that route. I

I go for the best battery I can find for the application and adjust from there.

I prefer flat top and flat bottom. Easier to shim for short batt than shim for long batt.
Preggy bottom batts reduce throw and are a pain once switch throw is dialed in perfect.
I'll be glad when all my nipple top and preggo bottom batts are dead.
