Yes, nicotine is yellow (or brown for higher concentrations).

Nicotine is clear slightly yellow, but it turns darker after mixed with PG/VG in 1-2 days. Thanks.

The best way is to use purified water.

In my experience clogging is mostly due to flavors. Is it a 100% VG?
