Melissa, I have an original Buzz that is 1.5 years old, it had to have a PCB replacement about 6 months ago. My first BP (like Mod's) will be a year old in July and I've had no problems, my 2nd BP is almost 2 months old and no problems with it either. Both BPs are used every day, my original Buzz was until I got my 2nd BP.
We had a batch of bad switches that have had to be repaired. There was no way to know about the issue until a lot of them were out in the field, but Mike has culled all the bad ones that he still had in stock.
I'll be the first to admit that things happen, but Notcigs 6 month warranty is solid and we do everything we can when a problem pops up

My BP was in the first run of 100 and I had the switch break (my own fault), broke the power wire (my fault), jammed up the voltage wheel (my fault again). Mike and the Notcigs crew repaired it all under my warranty. Haven't had a single issue since. Notcigs products and customer service are top notch. I recommend the BP to anyone interested in a VV unit without hesitation.
From all indications they are the same as far as reliability goes. we have a good track record with 5,000+ units in the market.
