Hi everybody, I've come to the conclusion the MVP 2 is right for me, for now. When I get my next check I'm heading to Vaporescence, which is a vape shop near me that I've never been to. Based on their site they carry MVP 2's and a nautilus. I want to try the mini but they don't have that so non mini is close enough one day I'll probably get both. In the future after that I want to try the big dripper. Thank you to everyone on ECF who got me this far in my plans. Now for some more questions.

Has anyone tried the Big Dripper? IMO that thing is expensive, but awesome.

Can the MVP 2 handle an rba without taxing it to much? If it blows up it might take out a 2 mile radius.
I believe as long as I'm not sub ohming it would be fine.

What's a good step up after the MVP I'm looking for a wider range of variable wattage than 6-11?
Around 100 bucks is a lot of money to me so as close to that if possible. Also the ability to do rba's no problem

What mod has the biggest/longest battery?

Does anyone have experience with Vaporescence?

Is it true girls like a man that can make a huge vape cloud?

Big dripper is approx 15$ on FT. So if you order it now you can use it in the not so near future. It works great, dripping for lazy people. Quite big though.
Whilst there on fasttech you could opt for a sigelei 50w box mod if it pleases your eye. Approx 75$.
Depending on the mod you pick , I propose some imr battery, like a Sony vtc 5 or similar. They are safe to use at such high power ratings.

No experience with vaporescence whatsoever.

Yes they all love it... Especially when blown in their direction you sure to get a reaction.

Get the clone before you get the authentic. FT has one for cheap, as has been mentioned. If you dig it then get the authentic.

The MVP2 Is regulated. It won't fire on anything it doesn't agree with, which if recall correctly is 0.8 ohms and up. So yes, it can. I used an IGO-L on it for a long time, pretty decent. With a 1 ohm coil you can get 25 watts in VV mode, which is pretty decent.

The sigelei or IPV2 box mods sound perfect for that. 75-100 $ and VW up to 50. They both take 18650s so throw a Vtc5 and you can vape half the day away, then switch in another battery when it dies.

No experience.

Depends on the woman, my girlfriend hates it haha.

are clones like boot leg dvd's where's its the same movie but kinda blurry?

Hahaha ya that's a really good analogy actually. Sometimes they're perfect quality but sometimes they're blurry, and sometimes you need to finagle them into even working.

Don't worry so much about your MVP not being safe. It's a regulated safe battery it's just not that strong so it might not hit hard enough for you.

First of all, let's shed some light on how MVP works.

It has variable voltage mode, variable wattage, 3 Amp limit and can fire anything from 0.7 ohms.

That means it CAN NOT fire 25 watts in VV mode no matter which resistance you put in your atty! It will hit amp limit and will NOT deliver 5 volts.

After doing some math and experiments it become clear that MVP will only deliver 11 watts with atty resistance ranging from 1.8 to 2.4 ohms. If you put lower than 1.8 ohms, it will hit amp limit and protection instead of 11 watts. If you put more than 2.4 ohms, it will hit voltage limit.

Next thing - RDA. MVP will work just fine with any RDA if you build in the range specified above. But the vape will be pleasant only in single coil mode. This is because output power is split between coils. If you build dual coil setup, you will end up with 5.5 watts per coil and this is a very cold vape lacking flavour.

So, to sum up: MVP is great for anything single coil in the range from 1.8 to 2.4 ohms.

P.S. This is also true for dual coil clearo heads - not good, so buy BVC heads for your Nautilus, they are single coil and will rock on MVP.

Skip the MVP and get an IPV2 or similar box mod if you intend on dripping. While the MVP2 is a really nice solid device it just doesn't cut it for high wattage, sub ohm and dripping.
