So I am really liking my aga-td, and my m-vari is doing what it is suppose to do, really have no complaints. Being an artist and master mechanic i just have to say that the battery tube is just meh. so I have been looking at mechanical mods and was wondering what everyones thoughts were on their mods. did you buy or build your own. if you built your own would love to see pics and get ideas

If you can work a lathe, you could certainly make one, although the very fine threads would necessitate an automated feed. Otherwise you'd likely be better off buying one.

Brass is soft metal.
Tap and die set and some mediocre skills and its easier than fixing a stripped spark plug.
The 510 is te only part that needs this attention.
Or you could use a 510 fitting from a cheaper ecig.
Threaded tubes are easy to find and a simple horn switch can easily be made or sourced.

Even with all that simplified, you can get a king clone shipped to your door for $26.
Awesome quality and performance out of the box.
Hard to beat that price.

with enough money and time anything is possible. if you want something no one else has seen go out and make something. if you want to run with the pack order something. personally i want to make something but i dont have the money right now for the parts. but someday who knows what i will create maybe something truly steampunk style or completely futuristic.
