A Trident will easily support a build in this resistance range. Go to Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators and input your target resistance and wire size in the appropriate fields on the "coils" page and it will estimate how many wraps you need to use. Be sure to check your build with a resistance meter before firing it.

Sure you can build a 1.6 Ohm coil on your trident, you will need an Ohms tester for sure for safety and to build you coil(s) at the Ohm you want. Start with maybe 28G wire and start with a 5/6 wrap single coil if you want twin coils it will take more wraps on each coil. If your working with twin coils you have to remember that the Ohms will be cut in half example if you build 2 1 Ohm coils when you have them on your Atty the Ohm's will be 1/2 an Ohm. So if you want a Atty. with 1 Ohm or more the 2 coils will need more wraps of wire. I hope this helps it take time and practice but once you have it down its easy. O and the IGO-L is a great starter Atty. its well made you can buy them in many different colors and the cost is great. The IGO-L was my 1st drip Atty. and I still use it some times.Great price and quality.
