hi guys! how are all of you doing?
well, my question is simple for those of you that have chibi tanks and baby notta tanks.
my questions is, are the chibi and baby notta tanks the same exact tank?
they both use grommets on each end instead of the generic hard plastic that most other tanks use.
they both support any ohm regular boge sized cartos and they are both extremely inexpensive compared
to the other tanks the market. Making them extremely viable options to new tank users, like myself.
Now, seeing as they are both inexpensive and use grommets, I was wondering if they were the same
thing, just branded differently? I know the notta's are made by an ecf member but IDK about the
chibi tanks. Can someone please let me know if they are the same?
Im also looking for other great tank systems. The nottas and the chibis are just test runs to see
if I would like tanks in general. Im sure I will but I dont want to ruin my budget just in case I dont
have a feel for them. I really, REALLY want the arry carto tank version 3. I LOVE the fact that
its a cross hatched design on the end caps and that you screw them onto the plastic tube for a
tight fit. I really love the ACTV3 design and I would like to buy it. Possibly two but theyre ALWAYS
sold out. So, will someone give me the info on the chibi and nottas? And possibly other GREAT
tanks that are aesthetically pleasing and functionable compared to the ACTV3? I kind of dont want
to spend over 40 dollars on a tank but I WILL if its 4x better than the chibi or nottas. But thats
practically a no anyways...I would go for a tank if it looked great though. And functions AT LEAST
the same as the chibi and nottas. Oh and also, which do you think works better with a boge carto?
The chibi or notta? Should I fill the boge carto first, then punch a hole, place it in the tank and then
fill the tank? If not, how should I do it?
The tanks Ive thought of buying are as follows:
the new white map tank (there are carto map tanks out there right? didnt see it on cloud of vapor...)
the liquinator (heard of leaking issues..can anyone confirm? which carto does it use?)
DCC tank (the really cheap ones...doesnt look that bad, pretty generic looking, IMO, better looking than grommet ends)
MC tank (to me, it goes hand in hand with the ACTV3 in terms of LOOKS, I mean, it just looks awesome to me..the only problem...scott bonner, the irish guy who does ecig reviews and has a site, told me that you could only use clearo/fluxos with this tank, so id be better off with a carto tank...but it just looks so awesome...)
VPX Cartomator (heard of a couple issues and its EXTREMELY expensive for SUCH a generic look...)
how is the J tank? I heard some people lovin it and some people hatin it.
what about the torpedo tank? lava tank? lil mama? Heard lil mama slips ALOT so the user actually switched out the ends with a cheap generic DCC tank and it works great after...but that basically a DCC tank now because it uses its ends...so he paid 3x or 4x plus the $10 for the DCC tank itself...to make one solid tank...for almost $60...what a waste..
so yeah, please help me on tanks. I know people get away with selling these things for 30,40,50 or 60+ dollars and its a huge rip but it helps keep the cartos' life last longer. since it keep the innards of the carto wet at all times and all..
well..thanks in advance! if youve read up to here and will post me back a comment regarding all of this, you deserve an e-pat on the back. so0o0o0oo...here's my virtual pat on the back. "*PAT*" did you feel that? good work soldier.

Now that I have my eyes uncrossed after reading your format...

I do not like grommet tanks. Give me a Delrin capped tank any day of the week.

I got started on tanks via the DIY syringe/carto tank project. After using several for a month or so, I started to get an 'off' taste. I then got several of the screw-in cap tanks. Every one leaked! Ergo, I luv the 3.5ml and 5ml Delrin tanks sold by Mad Vapes. No issues whatsoever with 'em.

The one Chibi I got also leaked... Just my experiences.

haha sorry about the format, it went through differently compared to the way i actually had it before.
but back to business, you said the tanks from madvapes.
are you talking about the Dual carto cartomizer tanks? theyre the only ones that I see on the site, and also, i always wondered..these types of tanks always have a carto with a weird cylinder base thing that obviously keeps the juice from leaking...is that needed for every new dcc carto that you place in the tank? is that part removable so you could put it in the next new dcc? its weird, ive always avoided those types of tanks but now its time to find out if theyre needed and if so, if they are removable to use for every carto thats coming next. or is it purchasable on the site'? thanks for responding, hope to get a second one soon.

dmcg, by a couple you mean theyre all dualcoil tanks right? unless im missing something here...i only see dcc tanks lol. but i am using the search bar since i cant find the category that says tanks. even with the find option on the computer..silly moi, how do i find the tank section at madvapes? the chrome tank looks awesome. very aesthetically pleasing..i guess i will have to buy a dcc tank...even though ive told myself that im through with dccs themselves..o well. ill see what happens.

and where do you guys buy ur dccs? or do you use something else?
do you buy them punched or punch them yourselves?
cheapest and most efficient dcc recommendation please.
i find that the cheaper the dcc is, the cheaper quality it is.
and let me tell you, ive had some HORRIBLE dual coils in my day.
thats the reason why i stopped using them.
the best quality was at nhaler, and they were selling them for nearly four dollars a piece! REDIC!
but those dccs were THE BEST dccs i ever bought. and ive bought dccs fom 6 different vendors all had varying taste, vapor and throat hit..i hate dccs but this tank is intriguing...i will go for it as soon as u guys answer meh lol.

are you talking about the Dual carto cartomizer tanks?

Yes

...is that needed for every new dcc carto that you place in the tank?

No.

is that part removable so you could put it in the next new dcc?

If you're talking 'bout the carto, yes. You just have to create the 'feed' port by puncturing the carto. I use one of these:

I've got the DCTank (SMOKTech 510 Dual Coil Tank Tube) and you can't beat the price! $4.65 for the tank or $17.23 for tank+5 cartos+derlin tip!

The flange on the carto is to prevent the tank from being pushed down too far (or the carto from being pulled up). I also made a "drip" tip that is wider than the carto, between it and the flange on the carto my tank won't slide up/down unless I want it to! They're easy to fill and I've had no leaking problems.

I did find that the hole in the prepunched cartos had to be enlarged with some thicker liquids though.

FWIW, this is the only tank I've tried, so ymmv.

SMOKTech 510 Dual Coil Tank Tube the thing I like about these tanks besides the fact they are under $5 is that they look more finished then the chibi tanks and baby notta tanks and you don't have to fill them with a syringe and they're less expensive. I buy a handful at a time and cut them down with a pipe cutter to fit a 3ohm carto it only takes a few minutes if I wanted something I had to fill with a syringe I would just build it my self for a fraction of the cost
