Mine loaded with the word VULNERABLE! on a blank white page :(

Safari.

Safari is noted as a vulnerable browser.
Ideally, you get an "Error" trying to connect to the page.

I haven't tried with my iPad, but I'm not worried there. I don't do any online shopping on that. Only with my desktop computer.

It's the only thing I have. Everything is Mac here, eight of them, since 2007. So what should I do?

Safari is supported on Apple but unsupported on Windows any more. That means it should probably be uninstalled from Windows as it's not secure.

I have no PCs, no windows. It's all Apple Mac here.

Safari, Macbook Air ~ clicked the link, says: VULNERABLE! on a white blank page. Reported to Apple, the whole concept / episode with links, waiting to hear from them.

Apple is supposedly pushing a fix sometime next week. Until then, NO SHOPPING FOR YOU! :D
