Mini disaster avoided, last night refilled my tank wiped the buzz with a tissue went to take a toke and the button had gone missing, luckily it was still in the tissue it's so small i don't think i would have found it if it hit the floor, anyway i stuck it back in with super glue and is working fine, anyone know how they are originally fitted? was wondering if any other part is missing or are they originally glued
If they are when it falls out again will fit a chunky rubber one, the button is the only thing that to me lets the buzz down but quite happy now that i can fit something else:p

The switch has an orange rubber membrane over it's face with the button molded into it. The rubber has torn around the base of the button. This happened to mine too. I glued it back together and it was fine for a few days and fell off again. Be prepared to send it back for a new switch. sorry to see that you're on the other side of the pond. Might take a few extra days. I had mine back in under a week.

i would love to see a larger convex button the same size of the cutout

Yea i'm looking around for something suitable i'l know it when i see it, original holding up quite well at the moment but know it will disappear at the wrong time, as you say a larger push that i can glue to the cutout with the centre free to push would be ideal, the search is on:toast:

I hope it hangs on for you Sed.

A lot of people don't care for the little button but Mike uses it because it is rated at 1million clicks. It never bothered me, but I'll take the million clicks over a bigger, cheapo button any day :)

Another factor may be space limitation on the inside, not sure about that tho.
