Buzz Pro Battery test results;

I used 510's, 801's, 808's, and 901's. 5Card was the guy who intrigued me enough to get my first IKV 801 a few weeks back. 4 months of only 510's and I'm glad I listened to him.

I usually start vaping about 7am and don't quit until midnight-2am before I hit the sack. I don't chain vape by any standard, but I do hit it many times each hour. Since my time is free these days, there is nothing to interfere with me and my Buzz.

The Buzz Pro battery times were fantastic for me.
21 hours
34 hours
39 hours
32 hours
21 hours
28 hours
30 hours
24 hours
On all of these test, those are the whole times the batteries were installed. During each time period, I was sleeping about 6 hours.
So my average battery time is about 22.5 hours +/-.

I used 3 different sets of batteries.
880 MaH Trustfire Flame 16340's
750 MaH AW ICR 123's
880 MaH Grey Ultrafire 16340's
I understand better why you Infinity users like your wheel. Even tho I use a Buzz, I don't change the voltage a great amount. In fact, before this Beta test, I had not vaped above 5V. This wheel is very slick. I have now discovered that I really like vaping at about 5.5 - 5.6V. Keep in mind that 90% of my vaping is menthol too.

All of the carto/atty thread types vaped equally good. I LOVE my IKC 801 Fusions, but with variable voltage, I could find a sweet spot for each 510, 801, 808, and 901's. Since we all are different, our results will vary. But with the wheel, everyone can dial in what they like best.
As mentioned, I have owned a Buzz for over 3 months now, so I'm very familiar with the ergonomics of it. The variable wheel really makes it special for me. Just "dial and do it". For never vaping above 5V, it's pretty much what I've been doing lately.

I'm sure battery life will always be different for every owner, but I'm betting no one will have reason to have issues. It's fantastic in my opinion.

I subtracted my sleeping (and various other activities) times so sounds like you and I got about the same battery results Rosco. I vaped between 4.5 to 5v and used 2.5 and 3.0Ω cartos. I was using the batts I already have which are the grey jacket UltraFire 880 mAh. One set is 5 months old and the other set is 7 months old.

My Trustfire Flames are 2 weeks old and my AW ICR's are 3 months old, as are the Grey Ultrafires.
My cartos ranged from 2.8 - 3.5 ohms, and my voltages were from 4.2 - 5.6V.
I can't wait to get a Buzz Pro. I'm going to feel a little strange not using my Buzz as much when I get the Pro. It's like I feel I really "owe" alot to my Buzz. It has been with me this whole time.
Who I really owe a lot to is Mike. Were it not for these fantastic variable voltage PV's, I don't know what I'd be doing.
I'm not sure how I ended up on the Notcig forum/threads, but I sure as hell am glad I did. :thumb:

I remember getting a PM from you right before you made your Buzz order :) We're glad you ended up here too!

Hey that's right. In fact, I saved all those PM's where I was asking you all those questions about the Buzz and what you used with it.
Sure glad I listened to your very positive remarks on your Buzz experience. It "sold" me and you were so "right on" with your evaluation of your Buzz. I now make the same remarks to those who now ask me.:)
It's a good family to be a part of.:thumb:

I was the other tester. Lets start by saying Im a CHAIN vaper. I had two brand new sets of batteries. Silver trustfires 880mah. Set 1 didnt want to hold a charge like set two so i did two tests on each atty. Gave Mike the best results of each. I was super amazed by the 901 lasting me 14 hrs at 4.6volts!! Each time i put a new atty on it was really easy to tune the voltage to the best flavor, couple little turns and i was there. I also got like 9hrs out of a 510. Thats great for me. My favorite part about the original infinity was the wheel. The original buzz was my favorite because of everything else. Now the Buzz pro is both units in one. The perfect device for me!! I dont know if the production model will be the same but the fact that the batteries didnt bounce around in the device was also a plus!! Had a blast doing this beta and hope to do it again sometime..

Never would have thought machining up a tube would have given me an opportunity like this! THANK YOU MIKE

I did because of the power light, didnt want to drain the batteries at all. Wanted to keep it as accurate as possible

I did not, since I don't do it usually.
I didn't want to change the way I did things. I just switched to the Beta unit and did everything the same as always.

Are we going to have the external LED bulb thingie like the original Buzz? I hope so :)

I forgot to mention that my 510 beta had the new rounded well top cap, very nice. I'm not a dripper but the look was good.
No it will be inside like the prototype Bov ! I knew this would be a area that would be 50/50 LOL !

I liked the bulb being inside the unit. Lights up the wheel. Seemed to be more sleek. I think i had an original 901 cap.

The new top caps will have the larger juice well like on the 510 top caps

Let me begin by saying that I never do anything 1/2 way...Including vaping...I hit that PV like it's my dang job..I had a fresh set of batteries ready when the Buzz Pro arrived...That first set lasted exactly 10.5 hours under very heavy chain vaping...A normal run would consistently yield 12.5 hours..Trust this...I was trying my dang best too run the Buzz Pro into the ground...The longest battery run was 15.75 hours...I was busy that day... obviously..Batteries were all black, flame jacketed TrustFire 16340s @ six months of age and hammered upon each and every day...Trust again...they're dang good batteries and I've tried them all...

Atty wise I used a Joye 510 mainly...I tried an IKV HV 306 and employed and IKV HV 901...
Cartos were 510 Boges at 3.0, IKV Fusions and IKV Drip-Tip 510s....
All atties and cartos ran just as they would on a regular Buzz...All fired each and every time...

Now I get around quiet a bit...The BuzzPro has been with me in the body shop, out in the woods clearing tornado debris and storm damage, it saw a ton of bricks get laid{YEAH!!}, we landscaped lots, rode the Harley numerous times and the ATV more times than could be counted...I even lost it for a bit when it fell off the ATV onto the concrete...IDK whether of not I ran over it when it fell off...but it still worked!!! I found it rather soon...the joose I found the next day...then I lost the joose again!! Through thick and thin...carried in my pocket daily...layed here...layed there...The Buzz Pro never once failed too fire...It never fired in my pocket either...I have pushed it as hard as possible and just like the old Buzz the Buzz Pro is very durable...The Buzz has a proven track record as one of the best PVs available at any price...The Buzz Pro will carry on that tradition...

The biggest improvements.....That dial for voltage adjustment is very, very schweet!!! No magnifying glass is required...That's a big improvement but the biggest and it's a game changer is the battery life...Now when I head wherever for whatever I don't have too worry about the batteries going dead before I get back...Thanks Buzzkilla...you have made my life just a little easier with this tech...

Now my times were quiet a bit lower than everyone elses..I believe my batteries are just as capable too...maybe even more capable...I believe a truer test would be MLs vaped on a charge..I'm a bit busy for that however...One thing for sure I've absolutely hammered on the Buzz Pro...I'm not easy too please at all...If you want the best battery life available....if you want dial adjustable variable voltage...if you want a PV that is probably the most durable on the market...If you don't want too spend a ton of money...if you want the best customer service in the PV world..The choice is clear Brutherr...Buzz Pro....110% endorsed by El Dee
