I feel like I did when I was a smoker using this LR stuff. I wake up in the morning hacking and coughing up junk plus I notice last night I'm back to wheezing. I don't think this LR stuff is very good for someones health. Plus like Landlord said the taste also is lacking. I can't wait to return to my beloved Fusions.

Ruppy my NotCigs meter works very well on the 510 connection...

Steady killing it on the 2.4 Joye atty...Battery life remains a solid 12/13 hours per charge...Sometimes more according too the chain factor...Sat the Joye aside for cleaning and plugged up another Boge 3.0 carto...All is good...

Actually dropped the Buzz Pro into the very wet sand at the beach the other day...Just missed an out going wave...It landed switch down...Thanks too my superhuman lightning quick reflexes no damage was done....A little swipe on the shorts and vaping nirvana...During this whole test it's been subjected too pure torture...Hit the concrete...hit the sand...chain vaped daily...So far it's a dang fine PV...Even the raw aluminum tube is holding up well and not tarnishing up..

Damn 5 just can the tests , I can setup a automatic test at work , I plan on making a test rig to do some REAL time tests in a controlled environment with a counter and controller to get some real bench testing info .
No Buzz thats okay. I lowered the voltage and it seems to be okay now. Besides real people will be vaping these not benches. JK JK. I have learned though with LR that even though they put out more vapor at higher voltages they burn hotter than hades. I lowered it for this test. Besides, what else am I going to do with all this LR stuff I got for testing purposes?

5/21/2011
Black/flames Trustfire 3.7 volt batteries
dual coil cartomizer
Metered 1.55Ohm
Buzz Pro set at 4.46 volts
11:00 AM start
10:30 PM stop
8:00 AM start (5/22/2011)
10:45 AM dead batteries
Total = 14Hr.15min.

BTW LD I missed my pocket and mine hit the deck too with that awful WHACK sound and I thought, That's it break it, but it suffered no ill wills.

The only thing I don't like is the pot. I wished it was a higher number of turns. I know why it isn't and for vaping it is fine but for testing it's hard to get the finite setting because it is so sensative. But as a PV it is the best one I've ever seen or used.

5card, you are a champ for sticking with it for test purposes!

Did the unit itself get hot from using the DCs on it? My current Buzz does significantly-- to the point that I am using them on another device (no heat build-up noted). It becomes uncomfortably warm in hand and I vape them between 3.7v-4v using the flame jacket 3.7 Trustfires. Thanks!

No it's not the unit itself it's just the carto and the vapor. I just think vapor that hot is not good for you or maybe it's just me.

No, I think too hot a vapor can't be good in the long run for you or for me -- but I like the DCs around the 3.7 range, more warmth than heat. I really don't see how others can tolerate them at 5, 6 and even higher volts, ouch! But that's just me...

Thanks for letting me know that it wasn't the unit itself heating up, just the carto. The times you got on the batteries are quite good for the DCs. It helps make an easy decision even easier! :)

Pokey mine hasn't been getting hot with the DCs. I did have to turn it down to 3.7 tho, 4v was just wrecking the roof of my mouth.

LL, ty :)

Oh thanks, Bov! I like most of my juices on them at 3.7 -- every now and then in the late afternoon I turn it up for a bit, but it doesn't stay there very long! :)

My first (and probably last) experience with LR was a good one. With VV I don't need it, but I think it's all about the wattage. If I'm at 8 or 8.5 watts (my preference) it should be similar regardless if you're at 3.9 or 5.6v. I found the LR 306 to be very pleasurable. I think you can get a good vape on whatever Ω you're using IMHO.

Obviously, with the effect on battery life, it's not something I'd pursue. I just think it's what we get used to or are comfortable with. AND so much hype that LR is better.

I just don't like vaping at 3.7 volts anymore. I'm a 4 to 5 volt person now.
Pokey I don't know how anyone vapes anything at 6 volts. I've tried it and it is terrible. If I'm going to vape that high I might as well go back to smoking. That high isn't to far from it anyway.

Tried it once myself and it nearly took off the top and back of my head, lol. That was when I was a much less "experienced" vaper, not too long off the cigs. Far more punch than what I was ever used to with the real deal, that's for sure.
