I have no doubt that they will push it until somebodies batteries EXPLODE in their face from mis-use. The they will try to sue the Battery maker and not the Carto makers !!

Increased surface area is a GOOD IDEA but use proper design techniques to get there. like a .5" long coil with 30 wraps in it or something.
I'm also wondering what kind of vapors those overworked batteries are putting out that they are inhaling with their vape. Not to mention the hot electonics that are built with different plastics. Kinda reminds me of drug addiction. We don't care what it does to us. We like the taste and how it makes us feel. Well I'm not going to try to save the whole world.

I'm waiting for the one that has a coil from the bottom of the carto all the way to the top. But that wouldn't be LR. Hey why not make one that has a 0.7 ohm coil that is straight up the middle. They could use a 12 volt battery and really get to cookin.

I'm still pounding the Buzz Pro...I can find nothing too complain about...It fits the hand well...It's very light...Battery life is the best available at an average of 10.5 hours of chain vaping...That's with Black Trusties that are at least 6 months old and they have been well abused...Durability is the same as the Buzz or maybe even better...It has performed flawlessly...Do yourself a big favor and get yourself a Buzz Pro....Just wait until I get mine!!!!!!!!!!!

I've dealt with all the battery brands and currently have AW IMR 18650s and Black Trusty 16340s here...Truth is any brand can go at any time...Back in my Black Bullet days a silver Trusty was by far the best battery in my arsenal...and that was strictly LR land...I've given those black Trusties hell and they keep coming back for more...I do use an Ultra charger.....

Salem was gracious enough too send me a couple of the DCs too run on the Pro...Due too their lower resistence I trimmed back the voltage on the Pro and they worked flawlessly...I still have the first one running after two weeks...Flavor and performance are all good...I tend too hit it long and hard...Given that fact I get a little heat from the DCs...Otherwise they're great...A perfect carto IMO would be as many have said...Bigger coil...Higher resistence...IMO those would last quiet a while and that's exactly the reason I believe they aren't being made...If it could dial up too the 4.5/7 range and perform with good flavor....WELL???????????

Ya but the silver trustfires were my newest battery and all three sets are toast. The black ones are great and are my oldest set along with the ultrafires. The AW IMRs are doing okay but they don't last very long between charges so they're a fill in set. It's Black Trustfires or Ultrafires for me. Maybe if only one set went bad but all 3 and they were the only ones to do so. No more siver trustfires for me.

Yeah Brother I was just saying you can find a good one...Maybe...The 14500 in the Bullet led me too purchase a few for the Buzz...None of those were all that...Silver Trusties...Not for me..IMR IMO are best for LR applications and a must for the "other" mod...the one that should be well rested at this point!!!!!!!!

Pony, here.

Just dropping in with a friendly hello from the un-saved, addict laden, LR DualCoil-using, electronically challenged "people" world of vaping.
:)

Well join the crowd there Pokey! We seem to be the majority and not the minority :) What the folks that are knowledgeable about electronics are not understanding is that we are not all about the LR aspect of the DCs :) Even us electronically challenged folks can figure out that when the coils cover more area of the filler it only takes common sense to know that your juice will be heated more evenly creating so much more flavor and vapor. No burning in the filler since it is not directing all of the heat to one small spot, cartos last much longer since there is no juice that sits in part of the filler getting no heat to become gunky . Seems like a no brainer to me?

I use mine at lower voltage since they are LR. LR was all that was available when I got mine and using them at lower voltage is well worth it to me. I thought the Buzz had built in protection to prevent blow ups in your face? Hmmm.....

The problem, to a large extent, is the poor use of nomenclature and a lack of understanding by SOME of how these Dual Coils work and of the capability of today's battery technology.

YOU make an excellent point about dual coil's that I think is lost on many. When someone says "I love these Low Resistance Dual Coil Cartos" What they are actually saying is "I love the Higher Resistance vaping experience and extra coil surface area creates more even liquid atomization and improves the experience even more, and to Hell with the fact that I am heavily taxing my batteries and PV circuitry by drawing Double the Amperage"

I have No problem with this, as long as people understand what is going on.

Ya Dee they worked fine in my Buzz without the stress of LR and would probably still be working had I not used all those stupid LR cartos but the test must go on. My point wasn't that they were garbage, my point was that they failed before the others did. Under abnormal conditions.

It spreads it more evenly even if you use a blow torch to spread it. I'm not against dual coils they are a great concept as you pointed out and they work. It's just the LR part that keeps me from using them. I'm not going to go two steps back just to go one step forward.

However I do thank you for proving my point.

Now if they just used them on the 3.7 volt device they were intended for that would make perfect sense.

And this little horsey also likes the ready availablity of the DC's. Stalking a website in hopes of ordering a box or two of a proprietary carto (even one as good as the Fusion) sucks. To Hell with that...

I don't worry about that with a hundred of them in my box I'm all set.

It does SAlem ! it DOES ! , they now have 2.0 and 2.5 ohm , I talked to Smoketech last night and they will make them any resistance I want , I am going to do some tests and decide on a resistance then STOCK THEM for you guys and gals .

In one month it will be the next NEW thing Pokey , I am talking to Smoketech about making some custom ones for Notcigs to my specification that will marry well with our products.
