Buzz pro end cap PROBLEM!

Hi all,

My buzz pro has been great until lately. The end cap and spring isn't making the connection with the batteries like it used too. It's very touchy and sometimes i can't get it to work at all. Within the past 2 weeks i've missed probably 5 smoke breaks which has made me want to kill somebody. Ruined my day, i hope you can understand. I'm normally a calm and patient person, but when i can't get my nicotine and im hot and sweaty working i can go into fits of rage pretty easy

The problem started by having to screw the end cap on and apply pressure to the right side (push it right) then it would light up. The light seems dim and it won't go blue only red unless it's in the perfect place. I tried replacing the spring which seemed to work for a day or so then quit. The original spring seems like its in good condition. Can't understand what the problem is.

After being ...... i decided to take it apart and learn as much as i could so now i carry a pick with me while working incase this p.o.s won't work. This part is weird. I have to use the pick on the right (hooked) and touch the battery and one of the white things right above the threads on this P.V. whilst on my friends lavatube i only have to touch the battery and it works fine.

This is the best P.V. out there and i know that because when it works, it works fantasticly, but i can't keep putting up with this and i can't afford a backup or even a endcap right now, so all help will be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance:)

Can somebody plz move my post and delete the thread then? I temporarily solved the issue with aluminum foil below the batteries so it makes the connection with those leads right above the threads. The spring pushes the aluminum foil, seems to work great but why would anybody make an end cap like this? Safety, maybe but it's aggrevating and most would have probably sent it in or bought a new endcap.
