BVC Coils for "non-Nautilus" Aspire tanks???

By "CE4-type clearo", I assume you mean in general appearance, not in that the K1 is top fill?

Correct. It's also clear, like a CE, not jacketed, so if you don't like the size of the window in the ET-S you might prefer it. So far I've been very happy with the BVC coils performance (been using them in an ET-S and a Nova-S). The seem to wick high-VG about on par with the nautilus BVC heads - performance in general is similar (the only real difference I've noticed is that I can't run them at as high wattages, but that's mostly down to not being able to fine-tune the airflow).

I bought a few boxes and paid a bit more than the link to 3avape, however aspireecigonline offered them in 2.1Ω which appealed to me.
I plan to use them in my Aspire Vivi Nova and in my Billet Bridge. I'll report back how they work with the Bridge. They should be absolutely fine.

And I'm happy to announce that I'm finding them absolutely terrific with the Billet Bridge!

Also, for anyone who may be interested, sweet-vapes has them in all 3 resistances. :)

Me too as well with the BB. I had the first one in for a couple of weeks with about a week's worth of time on it. It was tasting a little burned so I changed it last night, not quite as clumsily as before I might add, and it's cruising along.

A "New and Improved" that's accurate!

I've been using these BVC coils on my Aspire ET-S, and they work really well, but (there's always a but...) I'm constantly getting little bits of juice spitting into my mouth! Anybody else getting this? If so, know of a fix?

I do. I help it stop by cranking the power down but there goes my warm juicy vapor. That's when I stop and put it down and grab the Veritas.

I've noticed an interesting experienced close to what you said, DM. It almost SEEMS like a little hot spit of vliquid, but it isn't! It's a very similar sensation, but it's definitely not the liquid. Many people have shared that the vape with these is welp, in lieu of a better word, a moist vape. It COULD be this is what you're experiencing...... or perhaps in your case it truly is vliquid. My only guess on that would be if you overfilled the tank and some liquid was residing in the airway.

With the Nautilus Mini BVC I usually run it between 11 and 15 watts (depending if it's on the vamo or the mvp). The sensation I get is similar. I personally think it's gunk ash as I run higher vg juices as well and cook the heck out of it. Just a thought. Another is that this is a ceramic wick material, and I have no reason to believe they'd change that in the original BDC form factor and it may just be bits of that flying out or floating around the coil, hence the screen in the naut BVC's. Don't get me wrong, I have 5 naut mini's and I've retired all my other tanks or given them away. I love the new BVC performance, just not it's looks, I'm looking at that silo tank pretty hard.

Got my nautilus with bvc yesterday and they have been good so far.
Just my second set up after my ce4 and i find I have to draw slower as the draw is easier with the nautilus air holes.

Last night I ordered an aspire ce5-s clearomizer and bvc coils which are for that one and not the nautilus.
I got them from world of vape.

Peter, stop enabling me. Do I need a Silo tank? Must take another look at that one......oh boy here we go.

Yes, it's true, I am an 'enabler'. Why do I know this? Because my lovely wife tells me so, and she is always correct. There are only three reasons to get the Silo:
1. it looks better than the Nautilus.
2. it allows for an even airier draw.
3. because you do not yet have one.

I'm so excited! Some time ago I bought several of those little adapter rings with a washer to convert the Davide to a dual coil. Works on the ProTanks too. Wasn't happy with the dual coil as I didn't get any more flavor than my rebuilt single coils with cotton. Now I can use these new Aspire BVC's with all my old Davide and ProTank 2's! :w00t:

Ain't life grand! :p

BVC in a protank2?
Got a link to what is needed to make that work?
Thanks!

Re: aspire k1 does not have adjustable airflow. I swear I thought it did but mine came in today and you get nothing off a mvp2. Looks like I'll be drilling some holes tomorrow while I try out the new coil in the new peakomizer I also picked up. Not too hopeful on its performance though since anything under 2ohms just seems to burn. Luckily the peakomizer takes just about any coil I could put in there.

God knows why they drill those air holes so low! There's stacks of room in there! When I fitted my K1 on my iTaste V3, the ego threads blocked half the air holes and restricted the draw, so I had to drill mine out to compensate. It's a stellar vape now though!

I have a nautilus 5ml with bvc'c and its great and I have ordered an Aspire ce5-s clearamiser for going out and some bvc's for that clearomiser.
They say bvc's for the nautilus and bvc's not for the nautilus. The main difference I can see in pics is the ones for the nautilus have thread top and bottom and the non nautilus only have thread at the bottom , non nautilus look wider but this is just in pics they haven't arrived yet.
Don't know exactly what they both fit other than what they were made for and what the websites say they fit but I'm sticking to what websites say.

I have the Nautilus Mini, and two CE5-S clearos. Prior to getting into the better tanks, the CE5-S were my favorites. I was so excited to hear about the BVC replacements for them.

Now, a Protank II and a Nautilus Mini, and a Kayfun have gone and ruined all that for me. :)

The differences are big. The Nautilus style threads onto the chimney as well as the base. It holds the whole thing together. The top is open, with a screen over top of it. The CE5 style (fits a lot of Aspire's other tanks, too) has a seal on top, that the tube buts up against and seals with. You thread these into the base, and the base has threads that screw into the tank. They are also shorter.

Chimney thats the word or at least a good word for it. I first got a ce4 then went to the nautilus , advantages of starting my vaping recently as to many years ago I read from people having done it for a long time - The pioneers.
Ordered some ce5-s clearomisers with bvc's for them for travelling and see how they go.
