I'll be watching this thread closely, this By-KA looks interesting.

I would love to find another tank as good as the Erlkonigin. Very few parts to clean and assemble, fantastic flavor and easy fill - and absolutely NO dry hits or leaking. I've tried many - Mark Bugs Gem, Calix, Phenomenon Lite, Russian 91%, KFL+ - and they all have one problem or another. Maybe this one will match the Erl K?
haven't bought this yet, but planning to. I am a big erlkonigin fan and have 5. I feel the same obviously about the erlk, it's simple, small, easily set up, and looks great. Have you tried the km3? Although not as short, it is however a very awesome tank and every bit as good as the erlk. Although it's only 19mm, it is tall but besides that, it's awesome.

No I haven't tried the Kayfun Mini yet, I was so turned off by the V4 and all it's parts I couldn't bring myself to try it yet. Maybe I'll have to look into it.

Nothing like the k4 at all, totally different. I never thought I would find a tank as good as the erlk, but did in the mini.

just build mine up.. 3mm airhole flavor single coil deck/chimney. machining I must say, its very good. no machine oil on mine. cloud is very decent, even in a flavor setup, 1.0ohms and 20W.. flavor is nice too :)
easy enough to fill, the only concern would be if I need deck access with a filled tank. need care to unscrew the tank, then the chimney. other than that all if good :)

Got mine a couple of days ago. So far I'm enjoying it. :)
Had a bit of a learning curve with wicking (being the middle of winter and a max VG juice didn't help haha), but I've found a method that works.
Pretty damn good flavor and vapor with a basic 2.5mm 0.8ohm 26g kanthal coil @25w, now I just need to find that perfect build for it.
Oh, and to buff out the cap too (they're frosted). lol

Tried out the 1.7mm deck, it's definitely a tighter draw. lol
I think that one will definitely make definite MTLers happy.
Back to the 2.3mm for me, I guess I'm more a middle-ground type of vaper!
If possible, can you compare the draw of the 1.7mm deck? Is it as tight as a Kayfun? How's the airflow?

I'm hoping it equates with the Erlkonigin, but not many out there have it so a direct comparison is out of the question, I'm sure.

From what @qorax said, I reckon an Erl might be a good comparison!! I know that the erlkoenigin is one of his all-time favourites!!!

Never owned a Kayfun before the 5, so I can't help there.
With my Erlks I had the open positive posts and the AFC fairly open (or sometimes removed). The 1.7mm By-KA is definitely tighter than that. lol

Qorax is the man to ask. :)

They should make a deck where different diametr air tubes can be installed. Shouldnt be too difficult...In fact I should go patent the idea...lol!!

Buy the 3D printer tubing that smoker store uses on the taifun gt2 and such. You can get it in various outer and inner donators and it's like $5 a foot. Ll

Edit - it's ptfe tubing but I believe that's the low heat one. And here's a higher heat one. You can go from 3/2. 4/1.75 etc.

You use 1/8-1/4 inch typically. So the foot you buy for $5 should last a lifetime.

PTFE Tubing | eBay

The lower temp stuff is flourotherm and should still be safe for he temps we get when wicked properly

Given it sits below a coil not on it and air is traveling through and you'd be wet with eliquid id say it's fine. If you can only find the diameter changes you want.

So for those stuck deciding between two maybe you can get the bigger and use ptfe to reduce it.

I'd like comparisons with any of the gem. Heron v2. Spheroid. Phenomenon lite. Cloud one. Taifun gt2. Kayfun lite. Kayfun 4. Tilemahos with springomiser (not good at all imo).

Specifically if there are any here who evaluate vape density differently than volume you'll know Exactly what I'd like to know.
