Ok so I think this the setup I'm gonna settle on for my Sofia for the foreseeable future.

Chi-Clone , Dbase short tank, Sofia and an external drip tip. 1ohm coil with cotton is perfect.

Lol, I'm not entirely sure I'll be getting any more tattoos of mods. You never know though I guess, lots of blank skin left.

Yes!
But not only. For example the bOd MECHA I made velvet.I could make 10 of them with different engavings, velvet finish with the Slim ring in velvet as well. Just an example

I know some cleros use them, maybe just try to find a clero that uses the CE2 ceramic and grab a few of those ?

That would be the fastest way it think.This is a general problem for all. I will put spare cups in stock in a few days but that unfortunately doesn't solve your immediate problem

Ok...need some advice...I've got my Sophia in an SnP 22mm tank.
1.8 ohm Kanthal ready wire, when coiled at 1.4mm measured 1.6 ohms.
Cotton wick ala Mr. C's tutorial; just a wisp of cotton.
First tankful was amazing. I closed the juice control and refilled. Opened the juice control and she vaped fine until I got down to about 1/3 full. Then it began to taste burned, and the juice was noticeably darker. I sucked out the remaining juice, washed the tank and Sophia too. I removed the wick prior to washing, but did not notice any burned spots. The coil was still in good shape, so I dry burned it to get rid of any gunk. Vaping a very coil friendly 100% PG. Re wicked, primed with a couple of drops and reassembled. Again, when the tank goes to about 1/3, the burned taste comes back. I have not touched the voltage, vaping at a cool 3.7V on a Provari mini with a hippo v2.

The only thing I can think of is the juice control...too open, too closed, other ideas?

Akdare, I can't be any help but someone will come along 'n chime in brother. My question to you is, did you experience this same behavior with the pre-assembled ceramic cup 'n coils?

Never used the pre-assembled wick. Went right to the micro coil & cotton.
