So, I have to admit, my Blu starter kit got me through the first few days of not smoking, although admittedly my standards were pretty low given cigarettes are on fire and it makes sense they taste burnt, so when an e-cigarette tastes burnt, there's not a lot being lost there. I decided to get another pack of cartridges to carry me over until my order came in, and like the starter pack, the first cartridge I load up is completely dead, just didn't produce any vapor, and of the 6 cartridges I used up until now all but one seemed to turn to a burnt taste but were still producing vapor. One of the batteries a few days in didn't die, but it's working life reduced to 2 hours while the other ran me 4-5 hours of randomly placed single hit use. Having looked at a lot of juice since then, the $15 for 5 cartridges when they were burning through 2ish per day was a little steep when apparently 1-2ml of juice has lasted me all day today and will likely vape well into tomorrow, that's like .60-$1 retail, cant beat that with a stick.

On a positive note for Blu, the one cartridge that lasted as expected (had a little ice cream cone picture on it) had a phenomenal taste to it and I'll be keeping my eye out for a juice that makes me as happy. (yeah, chocolate ice cream is that good)

Beyond my Blu experience, I spent a lot of my down time today reading over the forums ran across some information and became familiar with CASAA, and decided to at least sign up for the mailing list to start. (These guys are doing important things and are well worth the additional mention even if it's random in this post. That's how google works, and random mentions always help).

And finally... I was pretty excited when on Monday morning I realized my mailman come by consistently at noon (yep, just in time for me to get my package today on my way out to work). I got my EVOD starter kit and a 10x juice sampler from VapeDojo and couldn't be happier with the one I've gotten to try so far, and excited about the others that I will be getting to in the days to come.

Putting the EVOD next to a Blu I'm sure for any experienced vaper is just silly, but for me had I known the range of difference I could expect, I would have gladly put off purchasing the Blu and went straight for a real Vapo. None the less, I'll still give the Blu credit for being available at 11pm and taking the 'I'll quit smoking tomorrow' out of the equation, however I have changed my mind about still using the Blu at work since it was smaller and come to the conclusion that even though this guy is a bit beefier, it still fits nicely in my hand for use throughout the day.

None the less I'm a little long winded so I'm going to wrap this post up. On day 4 cold analog turkey and still enjoying every minute of it.

Also, just to mention it ahead of time in case the few of you didn't catch my comments back to you all on my last post, I will definitely be passing a word of the community on to others when quitting smoking comes up, without expecting it you guys really stepped up with many encouraging words and I've really got to give you all credit for what you do, it's definitely been appreciated, that motivation at random goes a long way with someone who doesn't put their struggles out everyday to get it in everyday life.

Not sure about others experiences, but for me it was about day 7 that I no longer got that zinc-penny taste in my mouth. Was pretty easy to quit but when I got that taste it kinda made me want a real ciggie. Pushed through that 7 days cold turkey and very happy I did. It's been 8 months for me now of the analogs and my lungs feel alot better! No more waking up hacking my lungs out, feels great. Even after the 7 days ever once in awhile I still used to get that taste of penny(or whatever it is), usually when stressed, but thinking about it, it's prob been 3 months since I even had that lil urge to have an analog. Now I have no worries about ever starting up on analogs again as long as I can still vape. Now I am going to start reducing my nic levels(@24mg now) a little bit. However, I enjoy "smoking" or vaping, done it for so long(25+ years) that the habit is more mental and busy work with my hands. lol Not sure if that makes sense, congratulations on 3 days though! That is really great!

Xtakk - Welcome and congrats for quitting the butts! I started with the Blu's and shortly after bought an EVOD kit from Vapedojo too! After 10 weeks it's been some of the best decisions in my life (especially the EVOD kit)!

BTW, the Bu batteries will work with Ce3 clearomizers, Vision Nanos and 510 dripping atty's (provided the dripping atty has a hole in the bottom). I used the Blu batteries to switch up flavors and as a sneaky stealth setup. I killed one battery a few weeks ago and the second died today (bought them on 09-13-13). It's ok though as over the last two months I've also picked up a 1300 Vision Spinner and a MVP 2. Just thought I'd throw that out there if you don't want the money you spent on the Blu's to go to waste like me!

Congratulations to you too man, I'm looking forward to 7 months already. I'm thinking we're on the right path though, we've at least got the option of actually lowering the nic levels, there's no way I could have ever decided and stuck to only smoking 75% of each cigarette I lit.

YES!! A friend of mine had given me a box of her "old stuff" and there were two new Vision Nanos in there. I took my old blu batteries and was pleasantly surprised they fit. I now use this in clubs and bars when I'm out. Super convenient.
