Hey guys, I'm quite new on the forums - I've been using an Ego-Tech for 2 or 3 months now and to be frank, they are not for me I still have them I want to sell them (if there is a section on the forums where we can sell second hand "parts" please let me know. I am selling them both - 2 baterries, 3 cartomizers, and a few small spare bits and pieces.

Now I made one more step and bough two new e-cigs - they' called EasySmoke - it's not a cheap one either - roughlty $59 for a double kit (2 bateries and two cartridges) Now I was loosing my nerves with the Ego now I'm loosing my nerves with this one because of the burnt taste. (I actually ordered the V2's and they didn't arrive in 4 weeks now so I had to buy the EasySmoke kits locally)

I though these two part ecigs are as simple as plug and play however the burnt taste is horrible, what can I do to them, do they have to be cleaned up, basically it is not smokeable. taste s like burned cotton it's disgusting.

I paid $60 for 20 cartridges and one after the other tastes like burnt. :glare:

Can these two part cigs be cleaned somehow?

Thanks a lot guys

Al

Pre filled cartos and carts are often.....dry.

Maybe get a syringe and some juice from one of the vendors on the front page and fill em back up. While you're at it, order some "blank" empty cartos so you have some handy.

Once you burn the filler...throw that carto out.

Now if it's an atomizer and cart (not carto) setup....then you can try dripping. Do a search.

:)

Just out of curiosity, were they prefilled cartridges or blanks?

Prefilled. Ready ones. They are damn expensive too. $60 for 20.

I have a dozen bottles of juice left i am going to try and inject some in them.

might work?

* I think the atomizer is inside the battery (like with the V2's, greensmoke etc)

The ego t is a great starter device the burnt taste is definitely attributed to the cartos as once they taste burnt they're done. I would hold off on selling them and try something simple like a kanger evod or t3. They are bottom coil clearomizers that are very user friendly. I had the same burnt taste problem with ce5's. since switching to a bottom coil clearo haven't experienced a burnt hit.

^ my thoughts....are you sure they are prefilled?

yes they come in flavors :)

Problem solved, I've poured in 20 drops of Choco Mint juice and now "she wet" and ready to go Lolol

these cigs come in newspaper stores and they don't sell I am almost certan of this and this is why they are dry I believe.

if you bought them locally go back to the store and let them know whats going on.

they surely wouldn't give a damn about it.

Had an issues with a shop easlier this month - I bought a disposable that did not work and they didn't give me a new one.

I guess the same would happen now.

I will just go and at least tell them they're selling dry cartridges.

this is the ecig

ScreenHunter_09 May. 12 22.19.jpg

looks a lot like the popular two part kits - not much differnce

the battery doesn't last 300 drags though either - it's more like 180 - 200

Thanks a lot guys.

I have a similar one. What I did was pick up some CE3 clearomizers that fit it (min was KR808-D threading not 510) and use the battery for driving. Like yours it doesn't last long but it is good enough for tooling around town running errands. I figure I have the thing so may as well use it till it dies and use my good gear at home:)

Oh yeah .... I would vape a lot more but I ould need about 4 batteries ... I will have 4 soon ... 2 V's and 2 EasySmoke's ... so I guess it's pretty good gear. but on the other side of things what would be the best gear. A provari?

I really don;t care about the size of the big ones but the maintanance...... I am terribly bad person when it comes to patience.

BEST is entirely personal preferance. Many on this forum think Provari is best.

I on the other hand am a happy camper with my old KR808, 2 ego-C batteries and my Vamo. The provari just wasn't in the budget at $150-200 just for the device (you still need batteries and a charger) and it doesn't do Variable wattage which I find I really love.

In the provaris favor is from everything I have read it is a really well made device and has a killer warranty.

I have a variety of things and i like most of them including my Kr808-D 5 volt pasthrus. I finally bought a Provari 2nd hand because my Vamo uses the pulse modulated type powering and Provari does notand just had to see!. I got spoiled with the Vamo variable watt! Now i check my ohms and change my volts like the old days with ego vv. thats fine. It works great and looks good. To make my Vamo more effective ive been stacking two 18350 batteries. Provari keeps up great and in smaller lighter size since i got the 18490 regular set up. Im glad about it.

I am concerned. If by ego tech, you mean the ego-t system with the weird atomizer/cartridge set up, then I can say that some people never got on with this system at all. Your best bet is to keep the batteries and charger and buy clearomizers instead.

the ego-tech is this one - eGo-K Starter Kit | Electronic Cigarette,E-Cigarette,Simeiyue Technology,Eliquid,CE4,EGO-T,EGO-C,VIVI NOVA (very similar to what I have, however it has a bigger battery, the clearomizer is the same one. I hated having to clean up the mess, in fact I never seen such a messy thing in my life, it was leaking all over the place and opening up in my pocket. The only good thing I did is to switch to a 2 part e-cigarette.

I didn't mind the size (i do love the smaller ones that i have now), the V2's are about the same size as a cigarette this is why I've ordered them also read some great positive review about them..

back to the eGo-K Starter Kit | Electronic Cigarette,E-Cigarette,Simeiyue Technology,Eliquid,CE4,EGO-T,EGO-C,VIVI NOVA , it burned atomizers every 3 days, it leaked, it's huge, it opens up, it burns the liquid until it turn dark colored, it looks weird, it's chinese and the worst of all I paid $99 a piece when on the chinese wholesale sites are measly $9 per piece. (if anyone wants to buy them I am selling both of them) :) Cheap

what a pitty, lets be frank we want to have a nice experience and keep those cigarettes away from our lungs - we don't need to spend ours ckeaning up a messy cig or having to fill it up etc etc.
