Cabbage..and how to stop it?

So, no matter what flavor juice i make, no matter what nic level I make..it all comes out tasting like cabbage to me

And for the record, even bought juice tastes like cabbage.. I have had "top shelf" juice and "{how can you be so cheap?" juices
but no matter it all tastes like cabbage

I can small it, smells just like it is supposed to, but i can never "taste" juice

I thought it may be my taster..but i can tase food, soda, candy etc, but juice..nothing
Ive been vaping for over a year, still no taste
Tried steeping, drinking only water pretty much everything

Am I doomed to a life of never tasting my juice? or is there a magic bullet that will actually work?

I don't know what you like, but I had a hard time tasking juices at first. Couldn't taste many of them at all. I'd recommend trying Arctic Wolf from vapor gods. It is an amazing strong mentish flavor. If you can't taste it, then you can't taste anything. You can also use it as a mix in with other flavors to add a punch. I did this for a few months. Your tastes do change, so it may only be a short term thing.

Hang on to your other juices, as you may like them more in the future.

My advice to you would be to try to start really refining your taste for cabbage. You know, bacon with cabbage goes well so you could look for some bacon flavoring.

Nic base? Alot I found at first tasted bad. Try vaping it by itself? It seems to be the common factor if all your juice flavor choices are different and you keep that the same.

Might have to vape it for a whole day or more to see if the taste comes through.

Stop using the cabbage flavoring!

If *everything* (vendor juice and DIY) tastes bad, then it could be your delivery system. Whats your PV? Do you use attys/cartos/etc?

Have you tried menthol? A few drops of strong menthol can make almost anything vapeable.

What kind of hardware are you using? Sometimes a lot of stale juice can build-up in the wick of an atomizer unless properly cleaned and if you store it dry, put a little lemon juice in the final rinse. If you use carto's the baking soda-vinegar method works really good, again with some lemon juice in the final rinse. I gave up on all my clearomizers with the exception of the T3's, they just don't do it flavorwise for me. When I first started vaping I couldn't taste a lot of juices. Good thing I saved them, because now my taste buds came back to work. Here's a recipe for a really strong RY4. You can add sweetener to your taste.

15 mls. of Juice
50/50 PG/VG
18mg nicotine from 100mg in 10% PG

2.7mls Nicotine Juice
1.65 mls. PG
6.15 mls. VG
2.25 mls. RY4 2X
1.125 mls. Vanilla
1.125 mls. Caramel

This is based on all concentrates using PG as a base. This is 30% flavor. Doesn't seem to be overkill like some concentrates.

I use 16mg mix my own, ive bought straight nic from wizard labs (this is mostly where I get it), myfreedomsmokes (pretty sure that's the vendor), and my last base buy was from goodprofets..I can try that , ill try anything, over a year of mixing/buying mixed juice and only smelling gets really old, I wont stop vaping,I would just love one time to smack my lips like i see reviewers do..it is a small goal, but a goal none the less

Ill try that Arctic Wolf first see if that helps

Ive used ego's, ego twist, lavatube, Bolt, Silver Bullet.. cartos, attys (306 808 510 etc) stardust tank RBA tanks, smok screw tank, cotton wick, normal wick, SS Mesh etc standard high and low resistance

Currently using the bottom coil cartos from vapow 2.0 Ohm..not "as gabbagey" but still no actual flavor

I have tried pepperment,same thing,... I get the smell, but no flavor, ive tried strong flavor, light flavor, I do have some menthol DIY ill mix up a batch tonight..I would be please with just once tasting something.

I am hoping that I am not one of those folks that just can not taste juice

I would suggest a strong flavor that has been steeped for a good while on an A7 or similar RBA cranked on your Lavatube. If you don't get any taste from that, then yea, I'd go with unflavored for awhile. Try again after a few months.

All day I have been vaping no flavor 50/50..I dont have that strong cabbage flavor at all..but I cant taste the sweetness of the vg either ( I assume because i can taste it out of the bottle I can taste it in a vape?)

the only thing i have not tried ( and the reason for never owning them) are mods like the provari, GG's and more pricier mods and good gensis tanks or costly dripper attys I really cant commit to such high dollar mods when everything is the same with my other mods.

But i have never tasted any juice ever, I do smell it in my sinuses I guess you could say, it is kinda in the back of my throat and up ..but never flavor other than the cabbagey flavor

I just mixed up full on menthol, ima try that in a bit

Have you let anyone else try them? If it was me, I would go with straight menthol. Its gotta be better than tasting cabbage. You taste buds renew every ten days so it makes me wonder... are you still smoking some? If so could whatever you're smoking be doing it? I ask because I smoke a few a day still and didn't have any when a visitor gave me a Marlboro full flavor (not my brand) and it made may juices taste bad to me. But if smoking each day something that is causing it, then doesn't matter if the taste buds are new ones.

I have been looking at the newer tanks coming out..I guess that's the last straw is just to commit, spend the cash, get some strong juice and just do it lol

if not, ill just go flavorless for a while..I was a menthol smoker for 20 years..maybe my mind is telling me there is no flavor lol I just made some menthol never vaped it..so lets see

Yeah they are all Ohhh that's good!..and I kinda smile, but inside im choking them.
