Letting it sit does make a big difference. I know one thing it can't be a morning vape for me. Makes my cheap maxwell house coffee taste too crappy.

I bet that's why the taste of coffee gags me now! I use to love a morning cup of coffee and now it taste like cr**!

Reading your posts here, this pretty much clinches a decision here. We're going back to the original recipe for Macchiato. Some of the "non-Lorann's" flavors just aren't measuring up.

When a good majority of people are finding problem with the mix, it's time to do something about it. And the truth is, not sure of people's aversions to Lorann's (mine is business related and not flavor related), but the alternative isn't a better one, taste-wise and that's what it's all about, then it's time to switch back.

Lorikay13, this was a thought I had 4 months ago, even bought 500 grams of pure caffeine, problem was, it's not only hard to mix, and when it does, it makes the liquid even THICKER than it should be (something like Metamucil) and creates a VERY bitter taste as well as a crystalline buildup on the atomizer. I've tested this some time ago. So, no, sorry. No caffeine.

It's the cappuccino flavor doesn't seem to "render" well in vapor form. I'm just getting a lot of complaints. Complaints that didn't exist with the previous incarnation. So, since I was fixing what wasn't broke, I'll simply have two tabs on the site or at least the option on the Macchiatto for "Regular or Lorann's-Free". We'll see. This will take me a bit as I'm still finding my way around CRE Loaded formatted stores (similar to OS Commerce), but I'm doing okay.

Mine is a minority view here, but I think I favor the original Cafe Macchiato slightly over the Lorann's free because of the chocolate. I LIKE the new chocolate, but to me it seems to stand out more. In the original Cafe Macchiato, the chocolate seems more subtle, so that I can taste more of the creamy coffee caramel goodness. I like very strong coffee so I'd probably like the Lorann's free cappucino better if I could just taste it more.

Then again, I just quit smoking earlier this month, so my taste buds are not reliable yet. But they at least work good enough for me to know that Tasty Vapor juices are by far the best. All of my other juices are going to waste because I only vape Tasty Vapor juices now.

This is one flavor I am definitely leaning towards in my purchase. Now I have to figure out whether to go with the Loranns or non-Loranns flavor... argh. Decisions, decisions.

And I totally agree about letting TV juices sit for a while. When I initially got (a large order of) his Tobacco, I wasn't a big fan. It sat for a few weeks until I decided to try it again, and the flavor had changed, and was very enjoyable. It's like the taste had mellowed with age. Very nice.

Well, the thing with Lorann's Chocolate is that it was more of a candy flavor and seemed to have a lot of cherry notes to it, and less like chocolate, whereas the Chocolate 712 that I get, is made DIRECTLY from a pure cocoa extract and taste more like a true chocolate.

This is why it's now a more prominent taste, because there's an ACTUAL chocolate flavor in the mix and not an artificial candy flavoring. But truth be told, the macchiato gets a healthy dose of cappuccino flavoring, so it's odd that the chocolate stands out more since it's not that strong of a flavoring. But this may be an individual taste thing too.

But one thing is for certain, this is fresh made CRAP, it improves in flavor if you let it "ripen" for a few days. And in the end, the largest majority has been quite happy with our product and that says a lot.

While I've never had the chance to try the normal style macchiato, or many others I'd love to give a shot, I've got to say I've enjoyed vaping the loranns free version.

It could be part tastebuds not recovered, and model, and I'm slightly lazy about keeping my attys dedicated to separate flavors but this flavor has been a fairly subtle vape for me. At sometimes other flavors seem to come out more then others, but thats probably more my damaged 'buds. The coffee flavor hasn't tasted unpleasant to me, I've liked it for the most part. Personally I wish the chocolate was stronger, I haven't been able to taste it quite as much as I'd like. Its very nice when the subtle caramel/cinnamon/diary comes through.

Overall I like it a lot, not a very hit you in the face flavor and it makes for a good all day vape for me. I dropped the nicotine in this one just for that purose, its nice and smooth and won't overpower your tastebuds.

The coffee is more true to an italian roast espresso, than the weak, rank columbian crap one might pick up at a 7-11 or a McDonalds, so I imagine this could be what people are calling "burnt".

Every morning I grind fresh Sumatra beans and make espresso in my bialati. The caffe macchiato tastes exactly like chewing on a Sumatra coffee bean. Its a true espresso flavor and wonderful! The only problem is that I like sugar with my espresso, so I will be really looking forward to adding some "sweet" to it!

Edit: I have the loranns cafe machiatto, didnt get to try the new one.
