Calling all Virginia Vapors!

Fairly new to vaping (3-4 weeks) and wondered if there are any other vapors in eastern VA (Hampton Roads/Peninsula).

Love my 510. tried a GreenSmokes first - gave to my brother.

Learning DIY e-liquid. have learned LOTS on this forum

A BIG THANK YOU to the guy who has the Excel spreadsheet.

Cannot find grain alcohol/Everclear/Clear Springs for dissolving menthol crystals. ABC stores here do not carry more than 100 proof. Any ideas on where to get?

If there are more folks in my area, I'd love to hear from you!

Hey JM I am in norfolk and work at the e-cig kiosks in newport news and va beach. You have probably seen me at the mall. Sounds like we are neighbors. To buy everclear you will have to drive to NC. All the ABC stores sell it there.

I have my own trick for menthol crystals. Works really well.

Get a bottle of no-nic, unflavored PG. Get a microwave safe bottle. I use a 15ml glass dripper bottle. Fill it with PG. Crush some menthol crystals to powder. Add a bunch to the PG bottle. Microwave it for 3 seconds. Remove it, shake it. Put it back in the microwave for three more seconds, shake again. Repeat until it's clear. It won't separate. Drip that into your mixes. It will still be ungodly strong, so add a little at a time until it's christmasy enough.

I live in Richmond and work primarily in the NOVA/ DC metro area, but my work occasionally takes me to your neck of the woods...err beach whatever the case may be.
No matter where our vapers hail from you'll find them friendly and helpful here. I can honestly say ECF is the best online community I've ever been a part of.

Mac - yes we actually met at the NN kiosk where I discovered vanilla carts!

thanks for the info on everclear - will try something else.

FYI - Ben Franklin Crafts carries lots of Lorann and they are open 7 days a week. also have VG in the candle making isle. Rite Aid & health food stores also have VG.

I may do this again in a few months and see how many folks we have then.

Fairfax right here. Yeah i 2nd that, ECF is a great place to hang out. You guys know any local places to pick up parts and juice etc in nova? i know about the smoke everywhere kiosk in tysons, but to be honest i would rather shove a screwdriver in my left eye then buy their swill.
