Can’t decide between the Grand and the Mini 2.1. Ideas?

Thanks to all for the comments and advice. Ordered a mini 2.1 (black wrinkle and white) yesterday, plus some parts (cap button, extra spring, extra bottles, magnet). Had a bit of a snafu with Paypal and the reo site, so I wasn't sure if my order went through. Didn't get a response to my email yesterday, so I called this afternoon. Had a very nice chat, and (hopefully) the mini will be starting its journey south soon.

Very much looking forward to trying it out!

Your gonna love it! Be prepared to be amazed too. Oh, and start budgeting for more REOs now. Once you use it, you won't wanna use anything else, so you'll want a back up or three.

I have both a grand and a mini 2.0. I do have large hands and my favorite is the smaller one. I ended up buying a hornet for it. The sad part is now my little guy is going to go on the shelf because I saw this thread and getting one of these opens up some more options for rebuildables.

Forgot to mention that when I spoke with Rob he said some mini 2.1 blems would be up on the website in the next week or so.

The Reo bug definitely bites, in the last two months: Got the Grand 1st (kicked it), then got a VV Grand, my Mini 2.1 will be here Monday.
Each has its own purpose and all work well.

I mostly agree. For those who have never used a box mod only the tube kind the Grand might seem a bit large. As far as performance I suggest the Grand.

The Mini version is just so portable and tiny, performs great and can let some people see that a bottom feeder, especially a REO is the way to go. They can easily become a back-up or a grab and go PV when the inevitable purchase of a Grand takes place!

I purchased a Grand first. I used it a few times, and put in on the shelf. I recently purchased a RBA, and I am using the grand a lot more. The flavor is amazing! I like to keep my PV on my desk at work, and the Grand is a little hard to hide, so I just ordered a Mini 2.1. I plan on using the Grand at home, and the Mini for work. Yes, the bug has hit me as well.
