For sure sir.....best I can say is the Lava Tube is a very good introduction into variable voltage. I know nothing nor know anyone with what your link points to. I'd say it's best to get something that alot of peeps have used and recommend. Thanks for your service!!

That is a sweet unit, haven't personally tried it (wish they offered more colors) but dfw has been around for a while. As for the "Lava Tube.... "Torpedo, by totally wicked... The "Cylon THE CYLON VV MOD ALL THE SAME.

There is a co-op interest thread that you can get in on, and its looking like we will get one for around 30 bucks...

unfortunately i wont have the time to participate in everything that goes along with co-opping orders from china for at least a few months. Just looking for an alternative solid and compact tube VV

Cadaoryn, you might also want to check the warranties. I had not seen that Pompeii one before, but i have checked out the Cylon and i have the lavatube. The lavatube has a year warranty, i believe the Cylon has a 3 month warranty but is cheaper.

i have ordered a lot from china some came in like 6-8 days some 15-25 and im waiting on a package that has been over 30 now
