Can anyone help me handle the information overload?

Hey all, I'm currently trying to choose what to purchase for my first permanent ecig (have been using njoy kings). I'm a super casual vaper (e.g. 1 or 2 times a day) and usually only vape at home. I have been considering the the Joye eroll, 510, ego-c, and ego-c twist, but am definitely open to other suggestions.

My priorities (in descending order of importance) are:
1. Ease of use
2. Amount of vapor/prominent flavor
3. price (both upfront and future)
4. upgradability (I don't plan on buying more than one setup)
5. size (though nothing over the medium/ego size)

I don't really care about battery life (since I smoke so little) or throat hit (the njoy king is even a bit much for me).

With that in mind, what would you guys/gals recommend? Specifically I was wondering:

1. Between the eroll/ego-c is one easier to use/maintain than the other?

2. Does the eroll have any advantage over the ego except for size/auto draw?

3. Does the ego-c have any advantage over the ego-c twist apart for shorter size?

4. Apart from the battery life, does an ego-c battery have any advantages to a normal 510 battery?

You don't need an eGo; you're looking for a cig-a-like.

Both are equally easy to use and maintain. The eRoll will require more frequent re-charging due to the shorter battery life, but if you replace it into the charger carrying pack after each use this wouldn't be as much of a problem as with other 510 batteries.

If you have issues using something other than a cigalike in public, you'd probably be more comfortable using the eRoll. Since you plan on using your setup mostly at home, this does not become a factor. Both are easily carried in a pocket. Most people prefer a manual battery over an automatic after vaping for a period of time.

3. Does the ego-c have any advantage over the ego-c twist apart for shorter size?

Plain (single voltage) eGo batteries come in the same sizes as Twist/Spinner batteries, in case you didn't know.

Because the eGo Twist and Spinner batteries have the variable voltage option, they would have an advantage over a fixed voltage eGo. You can adjust the voltage to each juice flavor's "sweet spot" with variable voltage; this option is not present with a plain eGo battery, which will have the one set voltage. As the battery voltage drops from use, the vapor quality will gradually diminish. With variable voltage, you can increase the voltage to compensate for the battery's drop in voltage as it drains.

4. Apart from the battery life, does an ego-c battery have any advantages to a normal 510 battery?

Being that an eGo battery has a larger diameter, it will have more options available for different juice delivery devices. Clearomizers, clearotanks, cartotanks, etc for instance. All provide a different vaping experience. For a good little something - E-roll has gotten rave reviews

I use an eVic and different Clearomizers or Tanks, but I also was a 1.5PAD smoker for over 45 years.


Try to avoid small upgrade ideas. In the long run it cost you more. first a bigger battery, then a different delivery system, but oh, which one....then back to a better power source.
Simpler to spend time learning which things play well with other things and make a system change in one shot.

Honestly, I wouldn't know; I've never used either (I use the Halo Triton).

The Eroll has a very small battery, but you don't need anything big. Joyetech is reliable; I'd trust it.

I ran all the Numbers thru the Select-a-Cig-2000 and it says you should get an 650mAh eGo Twist or a Vision Spinner.

Since you don't vape much, battery Life is not Very Important. And since you want to keep the Price Down, both the eGo Twist and Vision Spinner (Both are Variable Voltage) would be a Good Call.

I wouldn't recommend a Plain eGo either. Because it isn't VV.
