70/30 what? PG/VG?
Have you bought a large bottle of pre-mixed unflavoured?
Adding flavor will change the ratio, but also the strength.
Give us more about what you are trying to do. :)

So, more PG then.

It's not that easy. You need to buy some VG and then work out how much flavor you're going to use. If that flavor is in PG (most are) then that will need to be factored in.

By the time you finish, it won't be 6mg either, not without some more nicotine.

How much unflavored, pre-mixed 6mg liquid have you bought?

Welcome and glad you joined. Not sure what you have but I think I know what you want to do. From how you worded your request, you might want to reword it after you read:
dannyv45's blog | E-Cigarette Forum
When you are ready to re post, could consider posting in this forum:
DIY E-Liquid
Again, you will receive all the help you need when we can understand what you have. A liter of any mixture is not generally recommended to be attempted for a newbie DIY'r. Hang in there, all is not lost.

From:E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors with PG/VG Adjusting
This is an online calculator. I think you can figure it out from here.

Hi Nickwood
Next time around I'd suggest that if you want to get into DIY purchase your nic base at 100mg and a 50/50 PG/VG, and purchase VG, PG and proper flavors from the real flavor companies or someone carrying their products.

Assuming you've got a 100 mls of the 70/30 base. To get it to a 50/50 mix you can simply add 40 mls of PG. Of course now you have 140 mls in total and the 6 mg of nic in the original 100 mls is now stretched over 140 mls so it is not a strength of 6 mg anymore, more like 4.3 mg's. The only way to fix that would be to purchase a higher strength nic in a 50/50 nic base and add it in too. It is somewhat more complicated to figure out how much nic base to add and it will depend on what strength you buy it in so I won't try and describe that to you.

Almost all flavors, at least real concentrates, are sold with PG as their base carrying fluid. Flavoring is normally added to suit your taste and most recipes will have it between 10% and 20%. Say you want to try a 10% flavor mix with the 140 mls you could create above, then add 14 mls of flavor and cut the PG back by the same amount so that you still end up with 140 mls in total.

It is infinitely easier to simply start with the right components, pure VG, pure PG, 100 mg base nic (the latter can be purchased as nic in all VG, all PG, or a specific ratio such as 50/50), and flavor concentrates.

Good luck with it and have fun.
