can anyone reccomend a good "how to video" for filling a carto with the top it comes with?

Hi There

I have Oohm 2.0s for my ego-t and im not getting a satisfying experience with the drip method...im ready to try the method ive read about here where you fill the seal that comes on a new carto with liquid and you gently press the new carto in to have the liquid absorb better (right?) can anyone recommend some videos or methods to do this effectivly?

That's Leaford, the guy who basically invented the horizontal-coil carto for Bloog. That's the earliest video I ever saw regarding the "condom method" of filling a carto (back when Leaford was with V4L), although in the video he fills from the mouthpiece end while most people now seem to fill from the battery end.

I don't use it, personally. I can get just about any carto to hold its full capacity of juice by simply dripping on the filling and being patient. It's not as messy, and it wastes less juice. Even Boge cartos, which have notoriously tight-wrapped filling, are able to be drip-filled if you're patient.

But give it a try. A lot of people still condom-fill, if ECF is any indication.

This is my favorite. I used this method on every carto I used until I moved on to carto tanks. After filling my cartos like this, I would drip into the filler from the top until I saw juice coming out the bottom. It's very important to saturate the filler on the 1st fill. When I first started filling cartos, I didn't know about this forum or any of the videos on ways to refill cartos. What I use is what I now know as a variation on the Tyran spin method. I found a two inch piece of rubber gas hose in my garage (unused)
that snugly fit over the vaping end of the carto. I drilled a hole in the other end of the hose and attached a two foot string. For filling the carto, I put in 5- 1o drops then attach the hose and twirl it around for a few seconds, remove and refill with another 5-10 drops. After two or three twirls, it is filled. I can fill 5 blank or used carts this way in just a few minutes without any of the mess of the condom method. Plus...twirling cartsos is fun!
