Hi,
My first rba is a phoenix clone, and I finally made a coil that is successful. Meters at about 1.9 ohms. After 2 days of breaking in, it works really good. Using epipesmod.com liquid and Spinner at 4.1 volts. But when I take 3 or 4 draws back-to-back, I notice the housing gets really hot.
Common sense says put it down for a bit and I do. Can the atomizer get too hot and cause any problems? The unit is made of chrome plated brass and is called a bulldog.

Welcome , and it's quite normal for these devices to get very warm . As you use it , your putting power to your coil , which heats it up to vaporize you juice . This can be compounded by chain vaping ( several hits in a row ) Nothing to be worried about , except you could pop your coil , if it's on for too long , with not enough juice . So take a few hits and let it rest for a few minutes before you hit it again .
