Maybe like a voltage drop but, for the period of time you're talking about, the coils won't go 'bad.' It's likely they are gunked up and need to be dry burned.

Since it's so totally simple on our attys I make it a habit to 'rebuilt' mine once a week while watching weekend TV. Take the top of the atty off, pull out the wick, pulse the fire button on your baby a few times until you see the coils glowing and the stinky smoke stop coming off the coils, rewick and you're done!

This refreshes your device weekly and makes for a satisfying vape!

Couldn't be gunked up... only run Boba's through this Reo and Cyclone...lol.

In the middle of rebuilding now but, when I took the cap off, the coils were of course totally encrusted. Hadn't even dry burned since I built this set up .

Similar problem here, I mostly run Boba's and other thick juices. I usually change coil's/cotton every week or two. Dry burning helps too to preserve your build longer.:vapor:

If you are doing Boba's you NEED to dry burn regularly!! That stuff is wicked on coils & wicks, especially at full strength. I do Boba's occasionally as an after dinner vape but cut it in half with my DIY inflavored and still has plenty of flavor for me on a RM2 @ 1ohm. Doesn't get the coil as funky as fast. I would just get in the habit of dry burning at the end of the day, that way you always have a fresh start in the morning! I would also check your screws on your atty on a regular basis as they can become loose easily escpecially with thick gauge wire, that will cut down performance big time!

Let me just say that with the RM2 and ReadyXwick, I can dry burn so easily, that I do it every day or two. It's cake. Unscrew the RM2 top cap.........dry burn with wick still installed..........screw RM2 cap back on and BAM!!! Brand new atty again.

In almost 3.5 years of vaping, this is my favorite set up and I have had ALOT of mods and atomizers over the years.

Makes perfect sense. I tend not to dry burn this rig often enough because it is such a BLEEEP getting the AFC cap off my Cyclone.

I don't have a Cyclone but my Hornet had the same issue. It had 2 o rings on base so I removed one and it made it easier to remove without leaking issues. I also just put a little juice on the oring as a lubricant when putting top back on. Another tip, if you have to pull that hard to remove I would take it off the REO and put on an old ego or something with 510 threads then pull top off. I stripped the threads on one of my REOs by continued pulling of the atty cap . just my 2cents! :)

That's the beauty of using ReadyX !! That's what I use as well. Dryburning a breeze not having to replace wick everytime! I have had the same setup on all my REOs for over a month and the coil & Ready x wick looks like the day I put it on. Wick comes back to life and nice and white after every dryburn!!
