Can ejuice destroy rubber?

slighly loose join between the tank and head on a iclear 16d, i put a little black rubber washer on it to plug the gap, and i was just wondering if ejuice can break dow the rubber on the washer

ps; the juice is era 3 popcorn and its (i think) 70/30 pg/vg

Not that I'm aware of.
Just about every tank I've ever used has an oring exposed to juice somewhere.

They can soak in some of the stronger flavors though. Giving everything a hint of that juice.

And some of the more industrial rubber varieties can add that rubbery taste.

But I have never seen one melt

I would be more concerned about the heat than the e-juice. Most of these atomizers use high-temp resistant plastics such as Delrin or Peek, for any parts that are not metal. You are using a small clearomizer, though, with itty bitty coils, so it might work anyway.

Just try to make sure it is food grade, maybe get a small food grade o-ring

well i replaced it because it didnt quite fit, so now i have one custom cut from a peice of meccano car tire, its pretty thick and hard and doesnt like fall apart if its bitten (my dog im saying no more), and cheers for the thaught on the flavour soak btw x
