i've seen online that there are a few pre coiled wires available, but i don't see any double coils available. Are there any out there?

EDIT: I just realized dual coil isn't a one piece things, that even when you make dual coils you make them sepereately. So now i'm wondering if i want the whole atty to run at 1.6 ohm, should each coil be 1.6ohm or when you add two of them does that multiply or dividie the overall ohm?

To have a final 1.6ohm atty with dual coil. Both coils in the atty would be 3.2ohms. Both coils need to be of the same OHM rate, then that rate is have when combined in the atty, in parallel, as a dual coil the resulting ohm rate is half of the original value.

FWIW, I found the Kanger dual coil head, perform better when rebuilt. As a single Vertical coil atty. I Liked the 1.5daul coils. But when they died, I would rebuild them as a 1.5ohm twisted wire vertical coil. 1. for the performance and flavor boost and 2nd. single coil is easier to do than dual coil.

what atty does that work in tho? I've looked at tutorials for rebuilding kanger attys but they all seem to use the old one where there is slot for the wick to slide down into. The new ones which i have just have tiny holes.

I did it in the Protank 3 which uses the same heads as your Aerotank. I got replacement/rebuilding parts from Lightning vapes for these heads. I did also use the "old" style heads for rebuilding, as the new style heads are harder to work with. Slot vs holes didn't really matter too me. Although I feel the slotted heads wick better.

If you can make me some rebuilt attys for my aerotank mini using cotton and the twisted vertical coil.. i'd buy them from you for a decent price. I'd pay for the original attys, the time spent, and shipping. whatever you think that works out too.

I just need something that wicks/saturates faster than the store bought attys i use because my favourite liquid burns too quickly and doesn't wick/saturate fast enough.

will the ones that you make work in an aerotank mini?

Yes the protank and aerotank use the same heads.......

There are plenty of vids on Yahoo, That show how to rebuild the kanger heads. It's not difficult, especially if you go back to the older style heads. The ones with a chimney and no sleeve. If I were to do this I would charge about $100 per hour, which would work out to around $8 per coil before shipping. Not a job for me.... No time, Not interested in servicing customers. I don't even build coils for my wifes Kanger atties.

My suggestion is to get a better atomizer, for the way you vape. Maybe a Nautilus maybe a subtank style clearo. But I will say if you are considering rebuilding a clearo, you might as well save yourself some frustration and get an atomizer designed to be rebuilt rather than replaced. Plenty of RTA tanks out there and they are way easier to work with than a clearomizer.
