If you are really desperate you can boil a carto and then dry it, it will need to dry for some time, if it is wet it just won't vape well at all. I don't bother, I just replace them. If you search on you tube you will find a bunch of videos on the subject...just search for "cleaning cartomizers".

clutch a carto in your had, connection side down, fluffy side up. Put the top of your hand on a faucet, and force water through it for about 30 seconds. Warm water, as hot as your hand can comfortably handle.

Seems to get all the flavor out for me. Great for changing juices, or reviving gunked up cartos.

You can dry it later by spinning on a string. Takes a total of a few minutes to reload juice this way :)
