So I was getting my dog in the door, it's snowing and I was trying to rush him. Had my GLV2-Mini hanging out my mouth, as usual, and...the drip tip slipped off and the GLV hit the floor  and...hubby says it's broke :cry::cry::cry:

Any idea what switch I would be looking for if I could even replace it myself?

Oh no! What a bummer! I'd probably end up doing something that shouldn't be recommended, so I won't give advice on what to do. (I'm the kind of guy that will change a light switch without turning the breaker off, using alligator clips to keep my brake switch working on my car, etc.) I'll let other, more qualified members help. Just wanted to say sorry.

I won mine as well but Jay made it clear that he wants to make sure no one is unable to use there GLV, at least he may be able to point you to where you can find a replacemnt button.

The info I've read says it's a MIL spec button, and those are usually only available through specific channels - and frequently require a minimum order. Most of the vendors we use that sell MIL spec compliant hardware do. I realize it was won in a contest, but he's still probably going to be the best (only?) source for a repair. I do understand what you mean, though. I've got a very unusual clock that was given to me by someone who got it free, as a sample. The motor burned out on it, and I contacted the artist who made it, asking for the specs so I could source a replacement motor. He wouldn't give them to me, just insisted I package it up and send it back to him for repair. He returned it better than new, and at no charge. I felt guilty, like I'd stolen something.

Ugh I guess I will lol you're right Scott, I hate to accept anything like that simply because it feels like stealing. I'll ask him how much to repair it, but I won't call, my accent ends up in too many *What's* over the phone....

No big deal ...the button is easy to replace. Give me a call 24-346-3205.

I have a complaint!! I want to switch the battery, last night I had to unscrew the top cap because I couldn't unscrew the bottom, now I went and screwed the top on too tight and I can't unscrew either! Waiting on hubby I guess to do it for me. J! Remember, you send these out to some girls, don't screw the caps on so tight! LOL
