Can I get some thoughts on this?

Take a look at Kanger EVOD 2 or T3'D for a tank. They use Kanger's newer Bottom Dual Coil Atomizers that work very nice and you can find the tank for around 6-7. The T3'D is all I use anymore. They are easy to work with and produce a very fine smoke like vapor.

Then for a battery just pick out either an eGo style Variable Voltage battery you like or an iStick 10 watt or iStick 30 watt.

I am trying to stay within a budget and not buy cigarettes, but find something within my budget that is better than the ce5 tanks I've been using. When I started this journey last week I had 10 tanks, but I guess due to the juice I am using I'm down to 2. I didn't realize that minty, spicy menthol flavors were hard on plastic tanks and that ce5's were just cheapys.

Glad I asked here about this one before I bought it lol

imnoangel, you're throwing money away with that. If you PM me your address, (I'm in WV) I will mail you a 650mah battery, a usb charger, and 2 Aspire ET-S tanks (all used but in working order).

Really I would look at something like the protank mini it will fit your batteries, and is a lot better than those tanks but cheap, the heads are replaceable running around $2 each and the tanks on them now are glass, so won't be a problem with the juice you use.

Mini Protank 3, EVOD 2, T3'D are all in the same family. Protank comes with a glass tank, and you can find a EVOD 2 with a glass tank also. T3'D is an acrylic tank I believe. They will all do the same for vapor quality / flavor, and all use the same coils. Bottom Dual Coil is the key.

You Sir, are a Saint! I salute you for your good deed!

Thanks Cheech. I'd still be lost if it weren't for ECF and the help I have received. I believe in paying it forward. I wish I had more I could send, but I do what I can. If I can help someone get off the cigs I figure sooner or later my karma points will add up cash in for me.

Got some Karma points today and I'm sure a nice "Thank you" card from the recipient!

I have the eGo from that setup. Decent little thing, long battery life, hits well for an eGo. Honestly, if you want to give it a try, it is just ten bucks, but I'd go with something like one of the small glass/SS & glass aspire or kanger atomizers/clearomizers/glassomizers. One of those and that same battery would be a nice starter. (I picked up one of the tanks I'm talking about at my local B&M for $16, and then I'm not sure how much the eGo battery cost.) Not a huge expenditure there, but maybe outside your budget. However, that's what I started with, and it was perfect for me.
But like other posters have said, maybe try going for something a small bit more advanced for the atty. Like others have said, I'd stay away from that. You can pick up something much much more worth your money for only a little more.
Good luck
