There was a video long time ago on youtube posted by Dr Vapour. Cant find it now but he taught me by: find the clear rubber caps that cover your carto when it was new. Take your juice and fill it in that cap. Then take your carto with the part where the threads are and insert that threaded end into the juice filled cap slowly to allow for absorbtion. Voila! This is the fast n easy method.

Before i learned this method, i just removed the small rubber tip of the carto where you put your mouth on to expose the cotton inside and use a syringe full of juice and slowly drip it in. Then on the threaded end of the carto, i insert a few drops to kinda cover that end.

Yes you can. Take off the cap at the mouth end of the cartomizer and carefully drip some juice directly from the bottle into the filler. Do not drip into the center air tube!

A good cartomizer can be refilled several times; in my experience, 6-9 ml of eliquid is about all a carto can vaporize, more or less. After that, the flavor and vapor production begin to go south and the carto needs to be thrown away. They are disposable, after all.

I'd recommend that you get a bottle with a syringe on it and go for a strong flavour such as menthol or mint as it goes well with most cartomisers. Then you can switch to some other flavours. I like to alternate between filling a cartomiser with menthol then strawberry next time. It cleared out the old tobacco taste ones I originally got, which is good as apparently I cant stand the taste of tobacco anymore!

I use this bottle and it's fine for me. 10ml needle filling bottle

It's not something you can throw in your bag as the lid isn't secure enough, but I have it in the house and have a few cartomisers with me in an old 35mm film case.

Another tip is to keep all of the plastic tips that the cartomisers come with in the first place. It helps them last while you're waiting to use them.

There are some videos on youtube too that show you how to clean cartomisers. I'm going to give it a bash on some of the older ones and I'll let you know how I get on!

Back when my wife was solely using Blu's, I was the designated carto-refiller. The lil' beasties can certainly have their life and usefulness extended and it's not a bad idea to have some clean/empty ones around for trying various e-liquid samples.

Honestly though? Once we got past cigalikes, refilling them became more trouble than it was worth and the cost savings (with 5ml mega-cartos going for $2 or so that can more easily be refilled a half-dozen or so times) became a penny-saving exercise at best. It's not hard work to clean, dry, refill them, it just became.... bothersome.

Agree with this.

I once reused a prefilled on. the Flavor I put is was some what close. It tasted like crap. Wont do that again, however you want to float your boat.

Yes you can. You will still have that remaining previous flavor however, no matter how subtle. And your atomizer isn't "brand new". In my experiences. Better to get blanks, but u don't have to.

I did this when I first started and it worked fine for me. I used similar flavors in the carts I was refilling, tobacco with tobacco, and sweet with sweet. I got some serious milage out of my carts, and did not feel bad when i tossed them since I used them several times. I graduated to a clearomizer tank type system now, I DO use a ciggalike at work, since the bigger one not very discreet.

Trial and error, try what works for you, you can find loads of informational videos on youtube, just search, cartomizer, refill ecigg etc. :)

Thank you so much for your quick responds to my question. I will take your suggestion and buy the blanks.

Again Thank You

I cleaned them at the weekend following a video from youtube. A PBusardo Tutorial - How I clean my Boge 510 LR Cartos - YouTube

The guy was quite clear about things if you're not sure.

I boiled the compatible carts twice while I was just watching something on the tv. It wasn't much of a hassle. I put the tissue in the ends as he suggested but I only waited an hour before replacing the tissue the first time. Then I sat them in a wine glass so the tissue was at the bottom to give the added bonus of gravity. Then they've all been sat in a wine glass on the windowsill just to make sure they're dried completely. I was able to use some Sunday night and they're pretty much good as new.

I even cleaned some of the original cartomizers that I hadn't ever used because I didn't like the taste and they cleaned out brilliantly after an extra 15 minutes.

All in all it's quite easy and if you have enough carts then you'll probably only do it once a month!
