unfortunately i think it is illegal to import it here , i do order juice from the states and it has always gotten through , but many others have had their stuff confiscated at the border .
the seller i use labels discreetly ie > aromatherapy oils or such ,but im not advising you do this cause you never know if there is a fine for making a phoney declaration on the shipping form ,
maybe try labeling it pg/vg w/flavour but i dont know , i sent something from can to the states and it still hasnt gotten where its supposed to go

I did a sale on the classifieds, and someone from Canada wanted to buy juice from me. I got to the post office, and didn't know what to declare on the customs form! Is it illegal to send e-juice?

It's not "illegal".

But there is only a chance that it will get through customs.

If it doesn't - it will be returned to you.

Have you already filled out the customs form? If not, a half-truth like "Vegetable Glycerine" would be okay. I've seen "flavorings" and "scented oils" too.

"Nicotine" or "ecig liquid" will likely be denied entry, assuming they read it.

Oh, and it's not illegal to send us nicotine in the mail. Don't worry. It's only banned from importation so it will be returned to you, if they deny it entry.

Mail fraud, however, is another subject and it can get tricky. Personally I think it's pretty damn rare to be charged over an incorrect declaration form, unless it's for something serious, like illegal weapons. Moreover, no half-truth like "Glycerine" would be indicative of intent to defraud.

I've gotten 2 orders now from the states without issue and another couple of small sample juice orders coming. It's not illegal in any way. Something I noticed that the particular dealer did was not mention anything of e-cigs so that there was less of a chance of it getting stopped. On my most recent package she just put "5 usb charging cases" or something like that lol. I don't really know that's it's as big of a thing as some make it out to be but that's just my opinion and I have heard stories of things getting stopped.

I have a couple of friends that work for Canada Customs. You'll have a much better chance sending it as a personal package rather than one from a US-based e-tailer. That said, I'd also mark it as some type of perfume or aromatherapy sample.

Also, if the person you're shipping to lives close to a border town, you could ship it to a UPS store Stateside where they buyer can pick it up. There are a handful in the Niagara Falls, NY area that do this.

Good luck!
