I'm not quite sure if you are asking about a drop in coil, or about switching to a 1.5 build, (sorry, this is not gear I know well) but there should be no problem using a 1.5 coil as long as your mod fires low enough to support it (which it should). What wattage are you targeting? Usually, a higher resistance coil will be fine on a more powerful mod, as long as you prime well and work your way up to what may be a lower wattage range, which should just give you more battery life. It's generally not an issue.

I believe that the battery is 1000 mAh, will this cause any problems with a 1.5 coil?

I’m sorry about all the questions, I’m new to vaping and worried about the thing overheating and potentially blowing up haha.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the noob question, but will I be able to use a 1.5 ohm coil with my subvod mini c?

Cheers guys :)
Hi mate,
The SSOCC heads are available up to 1.5Ω.
If you use a 1.5Ω coil, your output voltage will be about 7-8 watts. That may be a bit cooler that you expect.

Will you be switching tanks/toppers? Are you making your own 1.5Ω coil?

Cheers

The two sources I looked up said it uses a 1300mah battery, but regardless a 1000 mAh battery would be fine for your task. Never appologise for asking questions. We like vapers to be safe.

No I won’t be switching tanks, or not be making my own coils, just swapping the coils over.

Cheers,

Joe
