Can I use AFS V2 with ANY ecig?

I can afford to purchase an AFSv2 but NOT a GG or any other mod. I'd love to know if I can use the AFS w/ my current setup:
- BB mod w/ 510 battery connector - I use 510 exclusively.
- BB passthru at 6 volts ... my personal "sweet spot" voltage level.
- megacart w/ mega 510 atty from Totally Wicked

If so, what else do I need? What's the minimum purchase I have to make?
- AFSv2
- HV atty?
- mouthpiece?
- 510 adaptor?

My single objective is to solve the ongoing problem of proper wicking. My default is the blue foam cart mod but want a better/permanent solution. Is the ASF it??? And if so, what is the very cheapest and minimum purchase necessary?

At this time it only works with 901s or cartomizers with a hole drilled in them. Imeo is coming out with a 510 adapter but it's still a few weeks out. Yes it will work with your BB with a 510 to 901 adapter.

If you haven't tried a 901 or carto with the AFS you don't know what you're missing. I recommend buying one. You'll never want to drip or use carts again.

Let's see if this is correct. To work w/ my current BB w/ 510 battery connector, I need at a MINIMUM to purchase:
- ASFv2 (VaporKing site)
- 510 to DSE901 atomizer adaptor (VaporKing)
- AFS mouthpiece?
- I'm assuming I MUST get either a standard 901 atty OR an iatty ... is this correct? If so, which do you recommend? My sweet spot voltage is 6 volts
- Do I need anything else?

You'll want HV atties 4.5 ohms for 6volts. Try cartomizers you'll be amazed. You can use the i6 atty which is made specifically for the AFS at 6 volts but they are more expensive.

Yes, you are heading in the right direction to end the cycle of constant topping up the cart and dripping. The easiest and cheapest way to use the AFS is with cartomizers with hole drilled in them. Check out this thread for information about how to go about making the holes.

I put my AFS loaded with a cart on my wifes KR808 battery. It worked pretty good!

I left it for my wife to find, "What did you do to my puffer!?"

I don't think there is any draw to activate the battery since it happens in the AFS.

I used mine with a manual.

It does vape surpisingly well...I ended up being very surprised.

My budget says no way, but my heart says GO FOR IT ... so .... I AM going to purchase the AFSv2 the very moment I get confirmation from one of you fine fellow vapers on a few questions I have ... it's in the shopping cart just waiting for me to click!

To use the AFS with my 510 BB mod using the Nebula Turbo (KR808) cartomizer, I need to purchase the following:
1. Nebula Turbo (KR808) cartomizer from VaporNine
2. AFSv2 from VaporKings
3. Joye 510 to DSE901 atomizer or KR808D-1 cartomizer adapter from VaporKings

When I get the above, I simply drill a hole in the cartomizer, set up AFS, connect it to adapter, then adapter to my 510 BB and I'm set to go .... right ??

Harpo, MUST I get the mouthpiece? Maybe I'm not getting the cartomizer concept right. Isn't the cartomizer the mouthpiece as well as the cart/atomizer?

I vaped atties all day yesterday, could not wait to get home and pop my AFS with cartos back on... it was like jumping in the jacuzzi after a long day of something physically demanding, like logging or welding steel things to other metal objects.

Not sure I'll ever go back to Atties.

EDIT: Definately get the mouthpiece if you can! I didn't originally want to blow that kind of money on a simple mouthpiece, but it really does make refilling and vaping much better. No juice in the mouth, and no worries of accidentally unscrewing your atty to refill...which I did constantly with my t-tips.

And its ever so smooth.

You have to have a mouthpiece to use the AFS. You can use a drip tip if you have one but I highly recommend the GG mouthpiece. When you use the AFS with an atomizer it prevents liquid from getting in your mouth.

You'll want more than one cartomizer as a backup. I'd get at least five of them. Hell I have over 200. I don't believe coupon codes work for GG stuff but it will work for everything else you order from them.

I have 2 SB's and they both kick ... with the AFS I also own a BB but it doesnt fit the AW or the Tenergy 3v batts so it might not work as well, you might have to use an unprotected batt unless there are now the smaller cr123 that are protected, there are no discount coupons on GG stuff but the coupon is VKBC for your cartos
