I just purchased a Nickel GGTS #938 from a member here in the classifieds, and I am really loving it. I am currently using it with carto tanks connected with 2 adapters. I would like to get the AFS? AVS? that will allow the use of carts with a built in tank. Pardon my ignorance, but I've been searching the threads and I'm a little confused. I know these parts are not in production any longer, so I would like to be educated incase one pops up in the classified. From my understanding, the UFS is for 510 atomizers only. The AFS/AVS Version ???, can be used with 510 carts or 808D cartos, as well as 901 attys? I would really like the tank that can use cartomizers.....what should i be looking for? Look for an iAtty, just kidding... if your hooked on carts i'll let one of the more experienced GG fanatics out there answer this. But if your ever looking for change the iAtty is awesome, never have to worry about buying carts again.
AVS and AFS are mostly the same AFS has an adaprer that allows you to use it on any mod. It is essentialy an AVS with a collector tank draw controll ring and adapter piece. (assuming I understand the difference correctly)
Version 1 is Aluminum and only came with 901 adapter(also allows modified 808d carts if you punch a hole in them)
Version 2 is Nickel came with 510 adapter allows for use with 510 attys and carts but longer carts must be modified I believe. (I've been told it works stock but my Boge 510 carts have to be cut down to just above the filling in order for the mouthpiece to screw on. it works perfectly this way though.)
Either version can use either connector IE you can buy a 510 connector and use it with version 1 and you can buy a 901 adapter and use it with version 2. Imeo has stated he will be sending out more 901 adapters so if you find one with only the 510 adapter and you want the 901 you can buy it from the vendors for around 20 bucks I believe.
Version 3 is the UFS. UFS works native with 510 attys only as far as I know however Imeo will be sending next batch with the new top cap which allows for use with longer cartomizers. It is possible that a cut down carto will work with the normal top cap also but I can't verrify as I don't have one.

Congrats! And welcome! I just got a nickel GGTS too! It was my first GG device and in about a week, I bought an AVS and an iAtty!

But seriously! I was having trouble with my AVS. But I got it to work last night, and it is the BEST vaping experience I have ever had. I'm sad I didn' tput my favorite juice in there! (I was afraid it woudln't work and I didn't care about losing the juice I put in there)
The TH is out of this world. I was so surprised as I have been dripping with that same exact atty for a couple of days... yet I put it in the AVS and it punches me. I've yet to find something with such a consistent TH (which for me is a BIG deal). Keep in mind it is high in PG and nic. (I'm also vaping at 6V with a 3ohm 510 atty)
The vapor and flavor beat dripping too. How wierd? It really brought this atty to life. I have a couple of knowledgeable members here to thank for guiding me through the process. I was afraid after my hard work it wouldn't have been worth the effort, but it was worth even more effort than I put into it. I was expecting good things, I got/am getting an amazing experience with this device.
Now my iAtty arrived today
. Now through trial and error, I will hopefully be able to get it up and running before the weekend is over!

Im using a DCT MAP Tank on my ssGGts and the TH has choked me its so strong almost too strong... Im running a 3.7v 18650 3000mah monster and a 1.25ohm dual coil mega cart with 36mg Cappuccino figured when I bought it was a cheap solution till the iAtty becomes available again... and honestly this thing hits harder than my analogs I did add a lil dielectric grease to my connections and its amazing just amazing...
Here's Imeo's video on the new UFS top cap. By getting this and using on the UFS you can use any size 510 atty or carto and 901's also. It's just brilliant. I would wait until the new batch of UFS gets here and grab one along w/the new top cap. You will also be able to use any of your drip tips then too.
Thanks everyone for all the help. Looks like I'm going to hold out for the next run of the UFS and get that new style cap! Hopefully I will be able to snag one when they become available!
After trying both iAtyy and UFS I have to go with the UFS as the best experience I've had. Once you get it down it is the least work and most consistent vape IMO.
