Can I use an 18650 battery on a SaberTouchVariVolt?

OK, so I have a SaberTouch V.V on the way and am also looking into a mod that runs an 18650 battery for on the long road trips a take every month for work. I see that on the regular SaberTouche you can use the 18650. From what I see the size of the 3.7/6, 5V regulated and VV are the same so is there any reason it won't work in the touch before I buy a S.B or Omega? I did search the forums and didn't find an answer, if it HAS been asked and I missed it I apologize.

I do not know the definitive answer to this, as I do not use a SaberTouch VV, but in general if I wanted to know something like this, I would email the vendor. It might be that it will work with the right battery spacers.
