NEVER use isopropyl alcohol or any other chemical to clean out your atomizer. This chemical is not safe to inhale and because your atomizer contains silica fibers that are specifically designed to absorb liquid for vaporization, there’s no way to ensure complete removal of isopropyl alcohol or other chemicals from the fibers inside of the atomizer.

I really don't think it's that dangerous since it quickly evaporates fully away. I can see how some of it may not initially in the wick, but again that will still evaporate away upon use. And since you should be rinsing the gear under hot water after soaking in alcohol anyways, whatever is left is gonna be negligible IMO.

EDIT: I should have mentioned my recent system for rinsing gear that had lingering taste on the coil - an overnight soak in vinegar, followed by a hot water rinse and air-dry. I was able to get rid of a stubborn mocha flavoring on 1 and a burnt taste in another. I'm soaking another 1 right now that I'll be shocked to fully cleanse - w/ the cowboy tobacco flavor that's been in there for 2 months.

I use plenty of water and then a hair dryer to achieve nearly the same effect...

Something you might Try is you are going to use the Atty/Clearo Immediately after Cleaning.

And that is to Skip the Blow Dryer. Just Shake/Blow Out the Atty/Clearo, Fill and Go.

The first Hit or Two will be Weak due to he Water on the Wick. But after that it is Smooth Sailing.

Thank you all soooo much, you took me to school. As always with ECF ask and you shall be answered. I will stick with a vodka soak and thorough rinse until i pick up some ethanol. While I fully believe what people said that there are risks with iso (didnt realize that, well i knew you shouldnt drink it lol) it also makes sense that given its evaporation rate and that it will also be given a proper rinsing that the risks should be negligible. My conclusion however is since those risks are so easily avoided altogether i'll just leave the iso out it for now. But I will be leaving it in the cabinet in case any serious cleaning arises.

Again thanks everybody for your learned response.
