Can I use my iPod wall wart for my eGo USB caharger?

The vendor messed up my order and didn't ship the eGo wall wart with the order. Still waiting for them to ship me that. Meanwhile, can I use my iPod wall wart (output is 5v and 1A)? . All my usb ports on my laptop (there are only two) are being used and my usb hub is broken. I have a Vision Spinner 1300mAH btw.

I also have a wall wart for my digital camera. It says output is 5v and 550 mA

im sure with 1300 mah you should be fine with the ipod/iphone charger. but im sure a veteran will chime in on this

Ive done it many times when I first had an ego style battery and nothing ever happened to them one was 600 mah and the other 900 any now my girlfriend uses them with no problem

Specs for the eGo charger are:
Input 5Vdc 500mA
Output 4.2Vdc 420mA

should be fine, it's what I use for mine. I have four of them from various apple products so I didn't bother buying one specifically for my PV.

Just don't plug it into your computer port. Not only taking ten times as long to charge, if the batttery farts during charging you could blow your motherboard.

Not sure what a "wall wart" is, but I'd use the 550mah wall adapter, the 1A charger seems overkill for the eGo charger

Output specs for the white cube Apple "wall wart" are 5V, 1amp. Sounds like the one you have for your digital camera would be better, considering the ego charger specs Switched mentioned.

That said, I've used mine several times in the past to charge ego batteries.
