Can I use SS mesh and micro coil on my AgaT instead of micro and cotton?

The title says it all. I have bad luck so far with using SS mesh on my AGA-T2 so I did the easy thing and used micro coil with cotton. Good vape and all but I got this genny to use the SS mesh in the first place. So to minimize the hot spots can I use micro and SS mesh?
P.S I don't get less than 1.3 ohm coz I use Vamo v5.

I think if you search for "Todds reviews" and "AGA-T2" in YouTube he did one with a mesh, I'm new to all this but I have tried it myself and although I got it to work, it was very poor, my second attempt was with steel rope & mesh which was a total failure and the third attempt with ekowool fared a bit better, but I think it is probably down to my coils not being good enough yet.
