Can I use this type of resistance wire for coils???

Hi all -

I have lots of A-1 Kanthal coming in the mail....but I'm impatient and really want to tinker with some micro coils. There is a shop that carries some mystery type of resistance wire that I've never heard of before:

28swg Resistance Wire 4.2 Ohms per Meter | Maplin

Can I use this type of wire???

4.2ohm/meter is way too low to use for coils.

but are there any other types of wire that would be safe to use? i'm curious as well.

Kanthal and Nichrome are the only ones I've read that are appropriate for ecig coil use. And if there are others, I'd imagine that would be extremely hard to find locally. Stick with what's been tried and tested. I've got a bunch of kanthal on its way in the post, I'm just impatient
