I was pleasantly surprised to find LorAnns flavorings at the hobby store in our small town. I purchased some spearmint oil since my partner wants to try a mint vape. I have been searching about oil based flavorings here on ECF and have read conflicting or at least confusing information. Some posts say they are insoluble in water and require PGA. I'm wanting to mix into a PG/VG mix. Some posts say that will work. Some say I shouldn't vape any amount of oil even in small percentages. Some do without any apparent adverse effects. I haven't opened the package yet and still have the receipt. Should I open it and proceed or return it? Thanks! :)

I know exactly what your asking about, many say the lemon oil is not acceptable, because its insoluble in water. I can't say whether it's a good idea or not but can say I have used it mixed in a batch of stuff i got that I didn't like with no obvious signs of adverse effects. I hope someone with more knowledge chimes in here. I used about .5 ml in 18 ml vg/pg blend.

I've mixed and vaped mint oils. I do usually use PGA when mixing them as they do not like the VG I use in my mixes if I don't.

Note, this is mint oils, not veggy, not petrol. Mint oils are also very strong so only a small % is needed to get the flavor to come out.

I have never had any issue with Peppermint, Spearmint or Wintergreen oils. I really like Wintergreen...
