Hi everyone, need some advice. Can i vape high voltage with Dual Coil Cartomizers(1.5±0.2Ω)? Im using a Reo Grand and i have 2 AW IMR 16340 batts. I tried vaping with it but after 5 vapes, i felt dizzy and heartbeat incresing. i kind of like it though with the good TH im getting. Is it safe to vape?
Pls advice
Thanks
Sorry for poor english.

A dual coil is just 2 standard resistance coils. not low resistance coils. So the 2 coils in a 1.5 ohm DC are 3 ohm coils.

"felt dizzy and heartbeat increasing" - lower your nicotine level. Common symptoms of too much nicotine are headache, rapid or irregular heartbeat, hazy or ill feeling

So lower your nicotine OR use single coil cartos. With a dual coil you are vaping DOUBLE

And your voltage information would have been useful. If you are using 7 volts try the 2.5 ohm DC's instead which are two 5 ohm coils

Really? This is the first I've ever heard that you are vaping double with dual coil cartos.

I'm not doubting you, but this is the first I've ever heard that.

You are exposing e-liquid to twice the heating aria, so at least in theory that is correct.
Where the rub with DCC comes in is that they are still 3ohm coils in that 1.5ohm DCC, so they do not get as hot as a 1.5ohm coil at a given voltage.
Thus the desire to turn the volts up to get the warmer vape that you would expect from a 1.5ohm carto.

    Personal opinion of course;
for the person that wants more quantity in a hit DCC's are a hit, for the person that just wants more kick in a hit DCC's are a miss.

I understand that, but I don't understand how that actually translates into getting double the actual amount of nicotine.

I've been using dual coil cartos since they came out. I do get a somewhat better vape but I can't say I feel like I'm getting more nicotine. I'm not one of those constant vapers. I vape higher nicotine but don't really vape a lot, just when I get a nicotine craving. I definitely don't reduce the amount I vape with dual coil cartos.

I think they might be a more efficient way to get the amount of nicotine we are vaping.

When you vaporize more juice, your nic intake goes up. It's not the % that goes up, it's the quantity.
Just like you will get drunker if you drink the whole bottle instead of just half of it.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that LR cartos at higher voltages will shorten battery life, as well as possibly damage your device. That's why some devices, such as a Provari have a 2.5 amp cut off. A Provari will cut out at about 3.8 volts with a 1.5 ohm carto. A Lavatube will automatically drop to 3.7 volts when 2.5 amps is exceeded.
