Ok, so my disposable Njoys have finally ran out after the "Try one on us" deal a couple years ago. I think I tried more than one. ;) I was using them as emergency spares in the car in case my daily setup broke. Winter/summer sitting in the car wasn't an issue.

Now that they're gone I want to keep a small setup in the car. I do not like to carry a ton of vape gear everywhere I go, how some people do that is beyond me...

Anyways, I want to put a 650mah ego and a 10ml glass bottle of juice (Along w/ a charger and clearo) in a standard ego pouch and keep it in the glovebox until I need it. If I do have to use them and it's cold out I would get them to room temperature (Esp the battery) before using or charging. I understand that the ego battery will likely be very low if not completely dead when it'll be time to use it.I will more than likely bring it inside in anything below 0 degrees.

Am I forgetting any crucial info?

P.s.- I'm in Northern Illinois.

The juice you don't really need to worry about unless it's high in VG. Then inside a standard clearo, you'll notice it not wicking. Get some high PG juice. Keep the whole thing wrapped up in a rag and you should be fine. That will insulate it enough that you shouldn't need to worry about it.

I vape 70/30 so the juice should be ok. I'm more concerned about any negative effects the cold might have on the battery minus the inevitable dead/low charge condition.

The cold is not the worrying thing IMO, yes it will drop performance until it reaches normal operating temperature, it will be the heat during the summer that will damage it the most (heat is the worst enemy to Lithium based batteries), so keep that in mind. The tank, if left empty you'll have no issues, again heat is the enemy here, as liquid and air heat up they expand and build pressure, this will force liquid out of the airflow portions of the tank, take a very cold tank into a warm environment it will flood and leak, take a hot tank into a cooler environment will cause a vacuum and pull excess liquid into the coil for a "potential" flooding but not as common as the reverse. For storage I'd store the tank open and empty, a spare bottle of juice in the pouch should prevent leaking further along with the charge, battery, and some spare heads in the case, then store that in like a tuperware or plastic sealed container should protect from leaking, contain any leaking, and insulate things better as well.

The evod tank is empty and the juice is in a wizards labs 8ml glass vial, stored separately. If the glass should for whatever reason crack it'll be contained to the pouch. Oh, you don't need to tell me about the vacuum effect, I know ALL about that pita. :)

I'll have to figure out the heat situation when summer rolls back around. I'm pretty confident that the setup (Moreso the battery) would be ok, might have to locate it in a cubby more towards the center part of the car and not in the glovebox/dash with the sun beating down on it. I also have darker tinted windows so that helps keep the inside cool.

Thank you for all the tips, it's much appreciated.

Sometimes the simplest solution is over looked... If you like the NJoy disposable, why don't you just keep a 10spot ($10) tucked in the glovebox? You have an emergency? 10 bucks will get you a 2pack NJoy. And it will never go bad.

I'm not a fan of the njoys, it's just that I got about 20 of them for free and had no other use for them so I decided they would serve emergency duty. In the beginning they might've lasted all of 40-50 puffs if I was lucky, the last 6 or 7 that i've had to use last about 10-15 puffs each. Not all that surprising with them being 2~ years old.. So that's roughly 2 disposables I use for every "emergency situation" which happens 90% of the time while I'm at work. Besides, my frugal ways would never allow me to spend $8~ on a single disposible. ;)

That's what wrapping it up is about, keeping the battery warmer. When I was using ego's, I always had some in my car. I still do.
