I don't believe you are guilty of subjective pretense. I know it. Once a subjective word has been used in the premise it can only result in an subjective conclusion. In other words, an opinion. Stop using your opinions as the basis for a conclusion.
Dangerous, risk may be low, catastrophic, inherent danger, disservice, should,ridiculous, those are words that are subjective. They don't express reality, they express feelings. They don't make conclusions unless those conclusions are subjective. You say that the difference between venting and explosion is ridiculous and that is nonsense. Your post also misuses the word nonsense.

As there are many threads in ECF on Battery Safety, I suggest all take the opportunity while it is fresh in your minds and do some research.
