Can juice completely lose its flavor?

I have been vaping Gummy Blood from Fuzion vapor for about two weeks now. The first week was great, I was really enjoying the juice... but now there is almost no flavor whatsoever. The best analogy I can come up with is comparing a fruit juice to a fruit flavored tea. At first, the eliquid tasted like juice, all the fruit flavor was there and it was very sweet... but now its more like a tea. There is a scent but no sweetness at all. I thought it might just be a bad cartomizer, so i switched to a fresh one... no improvement, even direct drops on the the wick... no improvement. Its been a bit hot here in SoCal, so maybe the heat has affected the flavor of the juice? Has this ever happened to you?

Heat can affect flavor - and especially if you leave your PV in a car, (not recommended for either battery or liquid). You may also not be drinking enough water what with the SoCal temps and the vaping. Have you tried a different juice? Occasionally your tastebuds can get "bored" with a specific flavor. Alternatively you can check ECF for "vapors tongue" which is another common problem. All the best.

Hulamoon is right. Heat (wattage) can kill flavor - even a half a watt esp. on light flavors can make a difference. The other factor is if one is new to vaping after smoking, there's a change in tastebuds that can make a difference, but it's usually the other way around unless one is still smoking some cigarettes...

There are no for sure remedies, however a few myths that might work for u.

My vapors tongue have lasted up to 4 days, drag.

Try spicy foods, mouth washes, menthol Vapes, absinthe Vapes, scrubbing tongue, a wee half of whiskey single malt of course, licking the back of a toad or a hot dog contest. Actually forget the last 2, lol.

GL it well dissapear.

There's a 'range' and for me it was what others had experienced - after 4 weeks I noticed a difference in foods but didn't relate it to not smoking until the 5th week - head slap :D It's pretty stable after that - like I got everything back in just over a month. There are certain foods - oily, greasy, stuff that, for me, almost no ejuice flavor is vapeable right after eating. Usually the coffee and espresso flavors are the first that taste good after say a hamburger and fries. Orange juice or lemonade can help with that too.

Some of the flavor came back to me overnight! Thanks for the info... otherwise I would of tossed out perfectly good juice.

It comes and goes. for me it may occasionally last up to a week at a time. Usually vaping is best in the morning and as the day goes on I taste less and less of the flavor. Or it may suddenly come back for no reason I can think of. The first I usually do is raise the voltage on my pv and that helps for while. At other times I change flavors that also helps. At other times nothing seems to work. The length of time between vaping and what I eat or drink can also make a difference. It is different for everyone and you just have to try different things.

I still think is all the nose except bitter sour sweet and so on. It's what I learned in school way back. But talking about brushing tounge they make a tounge scrapper. Sort of "V" shape with a long handle and medium soft rubber. It works great....lots of gross scum in the morning for berthing with your mouth hanging open half the night. Also there is a sometimes effective system called the Neti Pot. I picked one plastic one up off eBay or $14.00-ish shipped. Maroon with yellow cap. Once you figure out how to do it right it seems to really help. Not immediately but it's good for your nose and if you're not in a hopeless state of allergies and swollen sinus membranes you'll be experiencing the e juice flavors more effectively a while later after using it

I keep multiple mods because I like the first hit the best and after a few I grab a cool mod Another reason to love a handful of e rolls all charged and ready to go
