Here's an article about cleaning out your sinuses. The biggest problem with a neti pot is keeping it clean. You can probably take care of that by getting one that is dishwasher safe. I don't have a dishwasher so I prefer the disposables.

But thanks for reminding me, CaptJay. I haven't done it for a while and I should -- allergy season is beginning.

Seriously I know it looks weird - feels a bit weird at first too but it works - and it feels way less weird than you'd think. Works too. Great for allergies.

Great if you have chronic sinus problems. Of course you could just quit dairy and solve sinus issues that way too. No dairy, no snot. Its that simple.

Another thing that can change your taste buds and sense of smell drastically is zinc. If the OP started taking zinc (or perhaps a multi-vitamin/multi-mineral) this will change things. Foot powders and sprays can also affect sense of taste/smell.

Or, it could be that your body is shedding toxins since you have lowered your toxin load by quitting smoking.

But if you have allergies, all the little pollen thingies still cling and climb inside. My winter allergies were much better this year -- I assume smoking was part of my winter problem. But the spring allergies have just started.

I'd forgotten about saline rinses until that post. Did it last night. My sinuses are happier today. (I prefer one of the squeeze bottle setups you can get at a drugstore. No contortions like there are with neti pots.)

Ok, so i have read all the posts in this thread. Many of you know that i have just about every single flavor that TV makes.

I kind of knew this but never really said anything since i have so many flavors i just chalked it up to 1 bad flavor.

The original OP is correct. The Pina Colada Flavor goes bad. It gets sour. By sour i don't mean taste but rather like when milk goes bad and gets sour. It becomes a really rancid and horrible taste. I threw mine out a few months ago. Im not quite sure what ingredient does it but I have not had this issue with any other flavor....and like i said...i have just about all of them.

No dairy, no sinus problems? I don't do dairy but I have sinus problems since I moved to where I live now.

For most folks quitting dairy will help a lot with sinus and head congestion issues. I talked my Mom into quitting ALL dairy for a week as a test. She always had a head full of junk as it was difficult to talk with her on the phone with all of the snorting and throat clearing. Her biggest problem was her addiction to cheese. Eating about 4 to 6 ounces a day. It was hard, but she went a full week without any dairy. She was completely clear at 5 days and pretty much stays off all milk products now. Changed her life. She digresses every once in awhile and then pays for it for a couple of days.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming... Bad Juice I think.

Interesting. If mine went bad, it was just my "buffer" bottle where I mixed about 15ml of the juice and doubler (which I tossed down the drain). After getting some new attys and mixing a new bottle, it's all good again...for now.

neti pot = amazing results if you have sinus issues. Google Neilmed for neti pots or other saline washes... your sinuses will thank you! I am not afilliated in any way, but I suffered for 30 years with debilitating allergies to pollen in New England, and rinsing helped so much more than any of the drugs that doctors kept throwing at me.

I never had Michelob Light begin to taste like used motor oil to me back when I drank a lot of that years ago.

ROFLMAO! I feel your pain!

NO! Not going to happen. Hahahaha....just no!

Seriously laughing out loud...

Oh CRAP, you GOTTA be kidding me!! Not on your life!! lol

And now rolling on the floor!

For the record: The juice was fine. It was me or my crappy batch of attys. After a few days and a new atty it seems to be back to normal.

Great news! I have been vaping for over a year and I still get those weird days where my favorite vape tastes totally disgusting. That is when I go on a spending spree for new juice and right as it hits my mailbox, my old favorite is back to tasting great.

At any rate, this was a very entertaining thread. I seriously laughed my azz off at people who had the same reaction to the "Neti Pot" picture that I had. :D
